All things equal, I think NE can roll big here by double digits but and this is a "BIG BUT", I hope the powers that be in the NFL don't send a hatchet crew in to help the Chargers get to the AFC Championship game and the SB to help make them relevant in their new stadium. Everyone knows they are struggling in the LA market with ticket sales and PSL seat sales. I just hope they let them play but I have my concerns about a flag fest against NE in this game and that is just my opinion on it.

Brady is 11-1 SU in this round

This is the 35th time since 2003 Brady will start a home game on more than a full week of rest. The Patriots are 31-3 straight-up and 19-13-2 (59.4%) against the spread in the previous 34 games, covering by 5.2 ppg.

Rivers is 0-4 SU and ATS against Brady over the past decade.

Also note that Rivers went 22-of-32 for 160 yards and no touchdowns against the Ravens.

The Patriots were the only NFL team to go 8-0 at home in the 2018 regular season.

Since 2011, the Pats have only trailed at home in this round for 5 minutes of football. They’ve either been tied or in the lead for something like 98% of the games.

Daunting.

Devil has this right . Chargers outright in this one. Philip playing with a purpose. Chargers are a team of Destiny this year don’t fight the wave just ride it all the way to the Super Bowl.

Why would someone do that when they could find +4.5 or get around +180 for their money on the money line?

Something else to watch here, besides being cold, weather guys are saying there's a good possibility it could be snowing at game time. I'm waiting to see the game time conditions Sunday morning before I hit this game for sure. NE and Brady thrive in that shit and not so sure Chargers will like it at all.

Because the run of greatness is over and the Pats are going to lose, remember?

That's retarded. Even if it was free money, only a dullard would invest $100 to make $100 when they could invest the same $100 to win $180.

I think some of you guys are getting a little too emotional over this. It's a football team that I was gracious enough to lend my opinion on. This wasn't meant to upset anyone.

And let me break something to you. Although I am wise compared to the average football fan, I am not always right. Ive been around the past 15 years to know what Tom and Bill have done and their history in this league and in the playoffs. I'm going against 2 of the best ever at their profession.

My opinion is not based on history. It's based on what I see this season.

But in the end, this particular game is just that. ONE game. Anything can happen. Plus, if the Chargers can't pull it off this weekend, I still have the Colts or Chiefs in my back pocket. w-thumbs!^

You mean two teams that those "average" Patriots beat this year.

I don't know man. You said you had to wait for the betting lines/numbers to make a prediction. Yet even before the Ravens/Chargers game, you blindly said that you'd take the Ravens or Chargers over New England.

I'm not doubting your football/betting intelligence, but this comes off as biased Patriots hatred more than anything.

If the Patriots cover vs LAC and then lose to KC, your prediction will have made you no money.

Unless you are planning to implement a progressive betting strategy to go with this thesis? But I don't see that mentioned ITT.

If you look at things objectively, you will have to admit that if the Pats win this weekend, they are looking at much different matchups then when they played the Colts/Chiefs the first time around.

The Colts are on fire right now and clicking on all cylinders. The game next week would be at KC.

A little different than an early regular season game at Foxboro.

This is not true.

I said I would have to wait until the lines come out to see if I think their is value in betting their opponent, who was unknown at the time. (But FTR I did bet LAC +4.5 when the lines came out.)

The only stand I have made here in this thread is that I believe the Pats dynasty is over. And I clarified that position by saying I do not think they will be back in a Super Bowl again with Tom/Bill.

Let's stay on track here with truth.
