I agree with the big fav Acasuso, but why Seppi?

Neither in good form lately, Seppi favorable results recently on surface, PHM has been awful on surface lately, and the contrast of their results here at this tournament...

I may take an "action" wager on Seppi +225 Pinny. Pretty much a coin flip as I see it, although I don't agree with Seppi having any recent form on carpet.

Give me +200 ish odds on what I perceive a toss up and I'm game.

Good luck, Hal

Hard to play against frenchmen in France. Especially with inconsistent players like Kristof.

I think Kristof lives on a 100 or so miles from Paris, but you are correct. He has come back to win the 2nd!

Let's bring it home to Belgium Kristof!!:dancefool

Nice call on Ginepri Hal. The money against him was huge. A little unlucky with Bjorkman but you got a great sight for the price, not that that is of much consolation to you.

Lifexpired nice thinking with the use of CRIS due to their retirement refund policy. It does take a lot of the sweat out of the game knowing that your guy has to lose the entire match for you to lose your cash. I get quite nervous at times at the spate of retirements that are occurring, and damn pissed when a player who retired the previous week comes out at the next tourny and wins in straight sets. I find myself getting off a lot of action at Betfair in the run so that I can lock in a profit and not have to sweat that he finishes the entire match. Have you noticed that Pinny change their retirement rule from one a winner after the completion of TWO sets as opposed to their old policy of ONE set? It will only be a matter of time before all books revert back to CRIS's policy and factor out the blight on the game that is retirements.

Early look at the board has me loving ToJo tonight. He should be pumped after having a great tourny last week and Spadea makes up the numbers anywhere he plays now and I cannot see him winning a match as a Masters Series event. As much as I do not like to lay the shorts too often, Pinny's price of -216 ToJo looks great value to me

He's an animal, and IMO is quickly getting back to pre injury form. If he should continue on this pace, I can see him cracking the top 10 in no time.

I'm on him at -218. Good luck, Hal

Alina was a loss yesterday.

one play for me today, going with history....

S Grosjean (FRA) -160 over The X Man (BEL)- there are a number of quirky head-to-head numbers on the ATP, including Santoro owning Safin at 7-2!!! Here's another one, two vets that have met 8 times in their career and Sebastien has won THEM ALL, 8-0. Unreal. In addition, he's also in fairly good form-reached the qtr's at Lyon last week and is also playing on home soil. Statistically over the past 12 mths, Sebastien's record on home soil and on this surface has been higher than his overall 12 mth winning %.......Xavier is a nut. He is an underachiever. Almost unpredictable, from a betting standpoint. Strong week at Lyon as he reached the semi's. BUT, over the yr he has shown that following a good week, he tends to flop the very next next(can't use 'form' with this guy, from week to week):ex., WIN Adelaide, then loses FIRST round following week at Sydney. Reach semi's at Indy , LOSE foll week FIRST round at Indy. Reach qtrs at Toronto, lose FIRST round the foll week at Cinci.......goin' with the hometown man, with that huge psychological egde he has over his opponent today at Paris, to make it 9-0......

ALLEZ SEBASTIEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
