Broke a rod in the motor last year and basically sold the truck for scrap. Just about everything had went to shit on it. Wife hated the truck also, I have had many trucks but the late 80s Toyota's were tough as hell
I drive an 08 Altima with 140k. Paid off and nothing seriously wrong with it, and I drive it about 200 miles a month. Nothing but oil changes from here on out until it disintegrates underneath me, leaving me holding only a steering wheel..
I have a client with a Toyota Camry that had 440,000 miles when we discussed it last year, and she has still been commuting in it every work day since from Cedar Falls to Cedar Rapids (70 miles one way).

I had my annual client meeting during income tax filing season, and last month her Toyota was over 535,000 miles, but was FINALLY starting to have issues, and she was looking to replace it in the near future. A good chance it will be a Toyota.
I’m at 189K now.
In the last month...oil leak solenoid repair. AC repair.
Replaced battery today because it drains when it’s 109 degrees out every day and night.
I’m burning through a quart of oil every couple of weeks.
Something about the 03 Accord VTEC engine.
Sucks messing with this stuff. But beats $300+/mth pmt.
Haven’t had a car payment in 15 years. Also have a 2014 forester we paid cash for new. That thing should last for a million miles.
