My ole Dodge just crossed a million miles (all zero's on odometer). The folks at Dodge called me to make a commercial of it and to give me a new Viper if I was in a commercial with the odometer reading all zero's. I stayed up all night protecting my Dodge which I had when I was 16 working in the shoe fields in Chicago. I fell asleep in the early morning hours after staying up all night. As I feel asleep, my trusted Dodge rolled down the driveway as I accidentally put it in neutral. I had the odometer at all 9's and then this happened.
Thanks for making me relive this nightmare. Maybe next week, someone will break my Polk High record of 4 touchdowns in 1 game.

06 Maxima with 140k. I tend to drive my cars until they die (the wife gets a new one every two or three years)
89 Audi with 200k on it died Dec 1998 (transmission)
98 regal gs with 150k on it had an engine fire in Nov 05

how about older cars with low mileage?
got a '01 acura type-s coupe with 92K. kinda want to get rid of it just because i'm a bit sick of it, but it's long been paid off and i wouldn't know what else to get at this point. anything else good quality with relatively low mileage would probably run me at least $15K or so used.

I bought an 01 CL Type S (132K) two months ago at auction for $2200 (title and fees included). I have close to $7200 in it now. New tranny (they always go) among 20+ other things. Its almost new after everything. Locally I could get $5500 plus easy, but I just might keep it after everything done to it.
I had a 2000 Honda Pilot with 270,000 miles that broke down on the highway in November. My wife wanted me to get rid of the car about a year earlier but didn't see the need too. I loved the car and would have gotten it fixed but the engine completely died and it was going to cost me more money than the car was actually worth. I bought a 2011 certified pre-owned Honda Pilot with 30,000 miles on it. I am hoping to get another 200K miles out of it.
