You only have to see Jimmy's post to see the man's no mug, just a slip of the finger. A Question for you Frog, seeing as you are so sharp, how come you dont get these vigless prices and know locals who will fall on their sword for a bet. I thought you said you were on top of your game, some of these young bucks are getting prices before you wake up.:lolBIG:

Off of Tampa, If you got any +3 1/2 or better I would hold the Bears. I shot some -2 Rams back into my +5. Also scalped money lines -1.39 to +1.65. Holding 2 units, moderate on Bears.

Not much good to say about last night. Straight play on Tampa Bay helped my cause along with a 6 point teaser with the Lions and the Bucs. Other than that, not much good to report. Holding Bills +4 and Dolphins + 3 1/2 for tonight. Looking to Dallas/Arizona tonight:

What can fans expect to see, besides a new logo, new uniforms, a new-look offense and four new starters on defense?

Cardinals coach Dennis Green said he didn't know how long the first-team units would play. Two starting offensive linemen, right tackle Oliver Ross (knee) and center Alex Stepanovich (hand), will miss the game, as will receiver Anquan Boldin (broken nose).

OXNARD, Calif. – Tony Romo will be the first quarterback off the bench in Saturday's preseason opener in Arizona, but Cowboys coach Bill Parcells warned reporters Friday not to read anything into that.

He said Drew Henson, who has struggled the first two weeks of camp, would probably go second in next Monday's game in Seattle. Drew Bledsoe will start against the Cardinals, and Parcells said he wanted his three quarterbacks to receive equal time.

In other positional battles, Parcells said Andre Gurode would start in front of Al Johnson at center, rookie Rob Petitti will start at right tackle and Keith Davis will start at free safety.

Johnson started 15 games last season after battling Tyson Walter for the center job in training camp. Asked why Johnson wasn't starting, Parcells said, "I didn't say I was making any switch. I'm just trying to get Gurode playing time at the position. Don't read anything into that. It would be way too early, I promise you."

Bad memories of Arizona: Parcells still has bad memories from the Cowboys' last trip to Arizona, which resulted in a 13-0 loss in the 2003 preseason opener. After the game, Parcells said he told owner-general manager Jerry Jones to "sell the franchise while it was still marquee."

Infirmary report: NT Jason Ferguson (right ankle), DE Marcus Spears (right knee/ankle), FB Darian Barnes (left ankle), Sean Ryan (left foot) will remain in Oxnard. Parcells said Ferguson would return to practice Monday. ... Safety Justin Beriault (right knee) will play after missing Thursday's practice, and defensive tackle Leo Carson (both knees) will see limited action.

Briefly: Parcells said he wants to limit running back Julius Jones to seven or eight carries. ... Jon Condo is expected to be the starting deep-snapper Saturday, and tight end Brett Pierce will back him up. ... Parcells said kickers Billy Cundiff and Jose Cortez will rotate against the Cardinals. ... Defensive linemen Chris Canty and Thomas Johnson will receive significant playing time. ...

I think Parcells plays this one to win. Buying Dallas Pick 'em at +111

More Cowboys/Cardinals from Feist 8/13:

Dallas Cowboys - QB Rotation: Drew Bledsoe (1st Q+), Tony Romo (2nd Q+), Drew Henson (late 3rd Q+).

For Saturday's preseason opener at Arizona, Bill Parcells said he will split the work among the quarterbacks in thirds. Henson and Romo have alternated each day working with the second-team offense. Parcells is having every pass the quarterbacks throw in team and 7-on-7 drills charted, so he has a feel for how they are performing. Romo has looked sharper than Henson thus far, but neither has been as consistent as Parcells would like.

Drew Bledsoe has looked sharp at Cowboys camp, teaming up with Terry Glenn on a number of deep passes and with TE Jason Witten on shorter throws. He also is in the best physical condition he's been in in four or five years.

Issues in the secondary: Parcells said he's not even close to deciding who will start at free safety. For now, Lynn Scott and Keith Davis are rotating at the position. CB Lance Frazier (sprained left ankle) is also ailing.

Cowboys nose tackle Jason Ferguson has played well in their new 3-4 defense.

Arizona Cardinals - QB Rotation: Kurt Warner, Josh McCown, John Navarre, Chris Lewis.

As of Friday, Cardinals coach Dennis Green said he didn't know how long the first-team units would play. Two starting offensive linemen, right tackle Oliver Ross (knee) and center Alex Stepanovich (hand), will miss the game, as will receiver Anquan Boldin (broken nose).

Coach Green went into camp wanting to beef up the running game, which was 22nd in 2004. That's even more imperative given the injuries on offense. In addition to Boldin, center Alex Stepanovich (hand) and right tackle Oliver Ross (knee), a key free-agency acquisition, are sidelined.

Not feeling 100% but gut it out as I have positions bought already. Sticking with + points on Fish. Prefer 1 good game, under belt, QB depth and lack of depth on scoring challenged Jags. Staying medium. Also like Buff, but who knows what everyone got there. I posted 5 and another available 4 1/2. Also holding onto that, as Indy has zip for QB depth. 20 guys may sit. Buff should at least keep it within 3. Had chanced in Lions last night, just did not cash, and Harrington played excellent. Horrible red zone play calling and the ungly zebra attack blew that one up. Totally burned on Cincy play as 4th stringer beat me. Pathetic.
Middled Bears to salvage night but no help to my viewers here. Passing on BAL as too much bad blood between these two. Just taking it slow on Fish and Buff. If you got down early on Buff shooting back -2, or 2 1/2 for a middle would not hurt.

Best Wishes...OF:howdy:
