Early, but just listened to Parcells press conference and says his 3 QB's will split in 3rds.....Bledsoe then either Romo or Hensen....think running back J Jones will play most of 1st 2 qtrs......trying out the 3-4 defense for 1st time so should have some effect...more later as it comes in...anybody got news on the Cards? Look forward to pick on tonites game as have not paid much attention...right now SD-3 and 37.5 @ pinny

fair enough OF, I guess it is just a different mentality....

for example I like the JETS week one of the NFL, I was even able to get quite a juicy number a couple of days ago.....

I was just about to post me week 1 NFL selections in a seperate thread, but I was torn as to wether to include the above bet or not, becauz, I know that the line I found was somewhat a "rogue" line & I know it would be difficult to get for others right now.....

of course, you make a good point, if I dont post it at all, it is possible that NOBODY gets it, but if I do post it, someone may find those odds at their book (Like in Did with the BEARS after you posted it at +1) & then they would be happy......

Actually, I wound up hitting a middle on that game because I had the bears +1.5 for 700$ aswell as a Teaser with Miami.....

Nothing new from local G.B. & S.D. newspapers, "don't want injuries, evaluate talent, etc." No rivalry, no motivation here. Looking more like a formal scrimage. Leaning to a small under play if public keeps moving total up.

SS, were all on the same side, if we are straight with each other. Jimmy, I hear ya. Pack looking pretty weak in all areas in scrimmage vs. Bills. Cb's got abused, line gave up 8 sacks, Aaron 1 for 7. I think one of the most heavy of factors was the way Pack looked in this scrimmage and mounting injuries on defense. This game is a bigtime guess, with possible weather conditions to make it even tougher. Both majority minutes guys, Rivers and Barnes been stinkin it up. Not so sure they will be up to the task tonight. But depth behind one series Favre, and so many defenders out, plus pack historically weak in this spot and the move is legit, unlike guess move on Bears last game. Pack miserable at Green Bay ATS, 2-7 L9? Chargers bring back entire rosters, both sides of ball, and everyone on the same page. I think both coaches want to work on timing routes, throwing to spots. Total has chalked up to 38 1/2. Weather is brutal because rain or slick surface with 5 mph winds equals huge advantage for offense, knowing the break. Can't think about over now, as anything ov 37 is too rich for me. So I have a very small, as in 1 tiny +2 1/2 on San Diego. It moved so fast it was all I could get, and passed on second wave. I am thinking if it was 3, I would hold, but since I have 2 1/2, it might be best served to shoot back across with +1.40, or take +3. I just do not have enough. My plan is 1/2 $L, balanced hedge for split profit, and rest +3, cheapest juice. Again, why risk anything on a only game of the night? If I was needing action just for the game, I would buy a sixpack and catch a buzz instead. Better spots next two days.

If you are indeed hedging, or middling, scalping like I am, it appears the Chargers will keep getting bet. I would wait to take Pack. Best price could be right before game goes. I just do not see any Pack money tonight.

These rotations are a joke, its obvious to any dope what can go wrong. With them playing at home, big crowd, Favre wasnt going anywhere till he said.

I think Sherman needs to win anything in front of the fans. Lost a ton of credibility at home last year, first in a decade home losing mark, and inglorious exit in playoffs at home. One thing for sure, the mugs bit the misinformation hard.

That pretty much tells the story. Missed FG's and a 53 yarder against, lying coach. Sometimes it is better to play it safe, so I ended up with Blockbuster and 2l bottle of sodi, small pepperoni pizza. Favre staying in to score that TD made the difference. There was never a Charger +3 so could not have done much better. Sometimes not falling for a trap is like a win.

Just couldn't find clarity on a side or total tonight so fortunately my teaser served me well. I noticed that Ahman Green was in mid-season fumbling form tonight for the Pack, otherwise Green Bay's starters look fine. San Diego's starters looked adequate for preseason game one toinight. Both teams should do well this year but higher expectations for San Diego.

I think we saw two as in back to back sandbagging by the head coaches. Saban just played down his team and plans, but Sherman out and out deceived. A lot of money is bet on these coaches words, and most of the time they are close to legit. Either game could have resulted either way, but after those 4 and 5 point moves, where is the value? Saints getting pushed to 3, not interested. I see one or two spots I may venture out on today. At least we have a few to choose from, these last two have been bad steamers.

First game picked up 3, previously in thread. Also have Lions money line. Going to keep the Lion side moderate. They can win this one. Next game hit Cincy + anything hard. Already laid some off at Pats +3. Have money line also. Really like the Tigers here. Large on them. I know, Pats point spread monster, but even -2 1/2 is good to me here. Took Bears earlier on 1 game played angle. +5 but at +3 it is bought out, need to keep working on late info and late games.
