OMNI/LITTLE NASA/BETUS.COM are thieves. They stoled 25K from me and have stolen similar amounts from others. This is the tell all on their crimes.

First , let me start off that I am not taking anybody's side but just have a question. A little while ago somebody was on this forum complaining that he did not get paid from OddsandEnds because they claimed that he was making correlated if bet parlays. the majority of persons that run books and\or run this site sided with the book because they all agreed that NO book with the right mind would ever accept these types of bets.

My question with regards to MFG's problem with little NASA is this: Would any book ever accept a match play on a money line? Every match play I ever rec'd they wouldn't, at least not the way MFG rec'd it. For Example, if I had a $50 match play and used it on a team @ -105. The most I could win would be $48. If the team was @ +105 I would ONLY win $50.

If the answer to my question is no, then why aren't all the people that sided with OddsandEnds siding with little NASA on this? The majority said the gambler should not get paid because he knew what he was doing was wrong. Wouldn't the same be said for this?

If the answer to my question is yes, then please let me know the books that accept this type of match play.

The reason I ask this is because I am getting the sense that some people are biased in their opinions.

MFG - I do hope you get paid because it is my opinion that if they accept the bet then they should pay it.

MFG- Thanks for the info. Sorry to hear about your situation. I guess luckily for me, I have never won enough money to cause any problems.

One thing is for sure....I will never play at any of these books and I will tell my buddies not to play them and tell them to tell their buddies not to play them.

The only book that I have played at is GameDay. No problems so far.

df1wiseguy:

You bring up an interesting point.

It appears that MyFootballGame was using the "underdog scalp" method of turning a match play into cold hard cash. If you can find a scalp or near-scalp involving a heavy underdog and a heavy favourite, and the underdog bet is at the shoppe offering the match play, then you can effectively turn a 30% match play into 20-25% cash money using this technique.

However, some shoppes do not allow the match play to be used to bet on any event with odds greater than even money. Some shoppes do allow the match play to be bet on underdogs.

In MFG's case, I do not know the rules of Little NASA, so I can't comment on whether that was improper play or acceptable play.

Halifax,

do you rcall the situation that CT brought up regarding being stiffed for $5800 from oddsnends?

Isn;t this the sane situation where NO BOOK would ever accept this type of match play?

Do you know of any book that would accept this type of wager? If so , I need to sign up with them.

Yes, I recall the OddsNEnds situation. I was one of the people in support of the book.

As I said, regarding this case, I don't know Little NASA's rules so I have no comment on that. Besides, even if Little NASA has a rule today, it doesn't mean that they had it in place way back when MFG was doing his betting.

Yes, there are certainly books that allow match plays to be bet on Moneyline underdogs. My most recent personal experience in this was when I used my match play at Blue Grass Sports to bet on Ohio State in the national championship game (and yes, Blue Grass DID pay that winning bet

df1wiseguy,

I play at number of books who offer match plays as bonuses. They all allow you to use them on the money line or as parlays. The only one I have ever played at that limits it is gameday, who will occasionally offer a $50 match play that can not be used where the odss are greater than +200.

So this is in no way similar to the O&E case.

df1, I can't comment on other books allowing dog bets with MP money, however, comparing MFG's situation to that of CT is grotesque.

CT's case was due to a software bug, MFG called in his MP bets three times and with different clerks each time.

Money won is twice as good as money earned

Good luck with this MFG. I sure hope it works out for you in some fashion.

Please stop in and keep us posted on what is happening. If nothing else we need to do all we can to keep other posters from being fleeced while playing off-shore. Good luck sir.

thanks for the input guys.

kongen, CT won that money over a 30-45 day period. That means many many plays. Plus he rec'd a hefty payout before. The only thing grotesque was 'software glitch' and them not reviewing his account activity before that.

I thought the comparison was valid if this type of MP was not accepted by most books. but i guess not.

thanks again

This should answer df1wiseguy and Haliflax most recent questions.
The rules at Omni, etc. used to be you could use the match play on anything they had a line on. Atleast that's what I was told when I signed up, and I never had one rejected by any of the three people in the matchplay department that took my bets. Also, each of the three different clerks checked with the line manager before each bet was taken. So if one person tells me this at signup, and three different clerks take bets on Money Lines and they all get permission to take it from the line manager, then I would say it is permissible.
Now, their policy was changed after my incident. They are real careful how they explain it now, because this topic has been in the spotlight and they know it.
Books that I know of that take match plays on money lines at any odds and do PAY are : 5Dimes, DSI, Get More Sports. I am sure their are others that I haven't played at before. But I know these guys do and will pay if you win.

If the rules were as MFG described them two posts above, then my vote is in:

MFG is getting screwed over.

df1wiseguy- Thanks for hoping I get paid, I did see that. I was just answering your question. You posted "isn't this the same situation where NO BOOK would ever accept this type of match play?" "If so I need to sign up with them." Did I miss something? I gave you three good books to play at for match plays on money lines. There is no difference in receiving a match play or a cash bonus if the percents are about double or so on the match plays.
The question is will I get paid. Yes, you said don't book the bet if you don't pay it, I wish everyone could have a clue that this is what should always happen. Then, for it to happen 3 out of 3 times and be classified as not ok is just bogus. Thanks for helping.
