Avoid my posts that point out how ridiculous his fighting strategy argument is and just go to what he knows best, saying I don't know what I'm talking about without proving it like I proved his argument wrong. In the NFL if you have a headhunting Safety that strikes fear into the other teams WR's , they are timid going across the middle and takes them out of their game some.
In the NHL if you have an enforcer the other team will be leary of getting aggressive with you knowing the enforcer is there to pay you back.
It's not so much about the penalties , it's about the intimidation and that's where the fighting comes into play.

Actually, you are speaking for gassy because he is too stupid to speak for himself. I totally understand the intimidation factor involved in hockey, but that's not totally what this was about. He brought up that teams will actually plan their game strategy around fighting which I said was ridiculous and my points that I brought up proves it. I posted an article written by a hockey writer who shows how fighting is no longer a major part of the game and certainly not part of the strategy like gassy wants us to believe. I showed where the 2 teams with the most fights this year are the 2 bottom teams in the league, so apparently the fighting strategy(if true which it isn't) is not working. Let me ask you this Pete. Do you think fighting is legal in the NHL? Keep in mind when saying legal, we aren't talking about law legal, but rules legal. I say it's not legal because if you fight, you get penalized. If it were legal to fight there would be no penalty. Since you weighed in, I'm curious what you think.
