Regardless of which political party is in power there will have to be major overhaul of Obamacare if not the scrapping of the hole damn thing.

It simply is undoable in its present form. Prices skyrocketing, doctors refusing to accept it and hospitals being rationed all makes it a colossal failure.

Much to his dismay and with much kicking and sreaming, Obama will have to accept this fact.

Cramer this morning on CNBC...... "It should be changed to UHC, Unaffordable Health Care. Now I don't want to get into politics but....." Then he goes on to wish good luck to young married couples paying the deductible on their newborns.

It’s not looking good.

The White House believes the technical problems that crashed healthcare.gov will become a distant memory. However, team Obama must worry about much more than just a website.

Here are the top five potential Obamacare headaches looming in November:

1. Price increases

2. Low polling numbers

3. Re-enrollment issues

4. November is about the worst month to start open enrollment

5. Subsidy eligibility

Institutions say complying with the Affordable Care Act has caused them to pass on some costs to employees, according to a new survey from the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources.

And even though they like to think of themselves as intellectuals, they'll be dumb enough to believe whoever blames "greedy insurance companies" or some other idiotic tinfoil theory for why this happened.

Yeah, the ObamaCare Web site investment is more like $1.7 Billion

The 60 contracts related to the development and operation of the Federal Marketplace started between January 2009 and January 2014. The purpose of the 60 contracts ranged from health benefit data collection and consumer research to cloud computing and Web site development. The original estimated values of these contracts totaled $1.7 billion; the contract values ranged from $69,195 to over $200 million. Across the 60 contracts, nearly $800 million has been obligated for the development of the Federal Marketplace as of February 2014.

We've been focusing a lot on President Obama's foreign policy, from Ukraine to Libya to Syria to Iraq to Israel and Iran.
However, get ready for ObamaCare to make a return engagement to our front pages, and politics as well.
Sally Pipes posted some numbers yesterday that won't make Democrats happy, especially those in tight elections:
"Get ready to pay more for health insurance next year, compliments of Obamacare.
A new analysis from PricewaterhouseCoopers projects that average premiums for policies sold through Obamacare’s exchanges will increase 7.5 percent in 2015.
In nearly one-third of the 29 states that PwC investigated, premiums will rise by double digits. In Indiana, the average increase will be 15.4 percent. In Kansas, it’s 13.6 percent. Florida’s insurance commissioner says premiums are set to climb 13.2 percent."
It's interesting but the critics of ObamaCare have turned out to be right:
1) The people who signed up were older and sicker. At the same, the young just didn't show up;
2) President Obama's promises of "lower premiums" just isn't going to happen; and,
3) ObamaCare's regulations, taxes, mandates and subsidies are distorting the marketplace and raising costs.
So we can say this morning that Iraq may not be President Obama's biggest headache in the near term.

- - -

So if I have to pay more, that amounts to a $2,500 savings? Interesting math. Or maybe the $2,500 savings was never a real possibility to begin with and just a completely fabricated number that sounded good to parrot...and the Stuttering Clusterfuck knew that the moron segment of his base and media would believe him?

Although some dims are slooooowly starting to come out of their Stuttering Clusterfuck love coma. It amazes me that there are still people out there who could possibly not only defend, but continue to promote this shit.

Advocates for poor say Jackson Health System bars needy from charity care

The complaints lodged by Florida Legal Services and the National Health Law Program, nonprofit groups that provide civil legal help to the indigent, allege that Jackson fails to meet new requirements for nonprofit hospitals under the Affordable Care Act and other laws.

A quarter-million Virginians likely will lose their health insurance plans by the end of the year because their plans to do not meet the requirements of the Affordable Care Act.

That’s in addition to the thousands of Virginians who already had lost their plans over the last year because of non-compliance with the ACA.

Those who lose their health care plans can purchase another that complies with the ACA — but they’ll likely pay higher premiums each month.

I fully expect the Liberals to blame this on “Global Warming” even though Wyoming has 20 inches of snow in September.

[h=1]Insurance Company with Lowest Rates, Most Customers Pulls Out of MNsure[/h]
It’s a major blow to the MNsure health insurance exchange – the insurance company with the lowest rates and the most customers signed up through MNsure will not be back in 2015.
The decision is expected to have a major impact on health insurance customers and the governor’s race.
Golden Valley-based PreferredOne Health Insurance has notified MNsure and the Minnesota Department of Commerce of their decision through a letter. Sources told KSTP’s Tom Hauser that MNsure CEO Scott Leitz was notified by phone Tuesday morning.

The Liar in Chief.

Ten Broken Obamacare Promises

Promise #1: “If you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan, period.”

Reality: Millions of Americans have lost and will lose their coverage due to Obamacare.

Promise #2: “That means that no matter how we reform health care, we will keep this promise to the American people: If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period.”

Reality: Many Americans might not be able to keep their current doctor without paying extra.

Promise #3: “In an Obama administration, we’ll lower premiums by up to $2,500 for a typical family per year.”

Reality: Premiums for people purchasing coverage in the individual market have significantly increased in a majority of states.

Promise #4: “For the 85 and 90 percent of Americans who already have health insurance, this thing’s already happened. And their only impact is that their insurance is stronger, better and more secure than it was before. Full stop. That’s it. They don’t have to worry about anything else.”

Reality: Obamacare imposes certain new benefit mandates on those with employer-sponsored coverage—a majority of Americans.

Promise #5: “Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase.”

Reality: Obamacare contains 18 separate tax hikes, fees, and penalties, many of which heavily impact the middle class.

Promise #6: “I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits—either now or in the future.”

Reality: Obamacare’s new spending is unsustainable.

Promise #7: “Whatever ideas exist in terms of bending the cost curve and starting to reduce costs for families, businesses, and government, those elements are in this bill.”

Reality: Health spending is still rising and is projected to grow at an average rate of 5.8 percent from 2012 to 2022.

Promise #8: “I will protect Medicare.”

Reality: Obamacare cuts Medicare spending.

Promise #9: “I will sign a universal health care bill into law by the end of my first term as president that will cover every American.”

Reality: Millions of Americans will remain uninsured.

Promise #10: “So this law means more choice, more competition, lower costs for millions of Americans.”

Reality: Obamacare has not increased insurer competition or consumer choice.

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/obama-just-took-big-victory-183958091.html

President Barack Obama touted the successes of the Affordable Care Act and improvements in the economy overall, during in a major speech on the economy Thursday at Northwestern University in Illinois.
"If we hadn’t taken this on, and premiums had kept growing at the rate they did in the last decade, the average premium for family coverage today would be $1,800 higher than they are," Obama said in his speech, referring to the law with pride as "Obamacare."

So the story du jour has changed from $2,500/year savings. Now, health care costs $1,800 less than it would have been because of this plan. Based on what, exactly? This is the same shit he tried to peddle when he claimed the stimulus saved jobs that somehow would have otherwise disappeared.

Don't take my word for it, though. Just read the comments at the bottom of the article, and decide for yourselves whether his claims are accurate. Literally, 100% of the people responding are claiming through personal experience that the Stuttering Clusterfuck could not possibly be any less accurate. I guess only Tea Partiers must read Yahoo...

C’mon man, he was giving a speech to a bunch of Northwestern University Aktards.

That just shows he has reach the bottom of the barrel.

Swallowing without reflux has become a Liberal prerequisite for a happy life.

Economic experts have weighed in

Starting this year, the United States’ working population will face three major employment disincentives resulting from the very benefits the Affordable Care Act (ACA) provides: (1) an explicit tax on full-time work, (2) an implicit tax on full-time work for those who are ineligible for the ACA’s health insurance subsidies, and (3) an implicit tax that links the amount of available subsidies to workers’ incomes.

A new study published by the Mercatus Center at George Mason University advances the understanding of how much these ACA taxes will reduce overall employment, and why. It concludes that the reduction will be nearly double that projected by previous analyses. Labor markets ultimately will reduce weekly employment per person by about 3 percent—translating to roughly 4 million fewer full-time-equivalent workers.

30,000 More Workers Are About to Lose Their Health Insurance

An additional 30,000 workers, who used to get health insurance from the country’s largest employer, will lose coverage as health care costs skyrocket.
The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday evening that Walmart will stop offering coverage to many part-time employees, and employees who still get coverage will have to pay increased premiums.

Walmart, the largest private U.S. employer with 1.4 million workers, used to offer health insurance to all employees, including part-timers, the Journal noted.
The Affordable Care Act — commonly referred to as Obamacare — was passed in 2010, and the following year Walmart stopped offering health care coverage to employees working fewer than 24 hours per week.
In 2012, the company raised the coverage cutoff to 30 hours per week, and on Tuesday, it announced that the 30,000 part-timers who had been grandfathered into the insurance program would lose their coverage starting Jan. 1.
Going forward, only part-timers who log 30-34 hours per week will be eligible for Walmart’s health coverage, and they’ll be paying increased premiums.
For workers on Walmart’s cheapest and most popular insurance plan, premium costs will rise roughly 20 percent, the Journal reported.
As the Journal noted, Obamacare’s individual mandate pushed many workers to sign up for coverage at an unprecedented rate, leaving Walmart facing an extra, unexpected $500 million in health coverage costs this year.
“We can’t take our eyes off costs,” Sally Welborn, senior vice president of global benefits at Walmart, told the Journal.
Whether part-timers will be able to hop on a spouse’s insurance, go to the government health insurance exchanges or pursue some other option remains to be seen, but Walmart pledged to help.
“We can’t predict where they will go, but we are going to help them find affordable health care,” Welborn promised.
