Lots of US love amongst the US faithful but they are just a royally shitty team that has no business being in the quarters. A lot had to bounce right for the US to get here, banged up Portuguese squad, Ghana inability to finish them off despite being the better team by a fair margin but the US gain on said bounces is a bettors gain to be. I believe money is gonna bang Belgium here so wanna get it while the line is good...Belgiums a beast of a squad, they havent kicked it into top gear which gets us a decent line but their top end talent is far superior to the us squads and their role players are better than the us role players, the Belgians are deep, organized, disciplined (despite the red card today) and solid in their own end. The us is going to have to hope for a draw and win in pks, 120 minutes being outclassed I dont think they make it.

Got other games ive got my eye on but I think the lines move my way so im gonna wait.

I might be one of the only ones but I think the Brazilians are in a heaps of trouble in this one but I imagine theyll be backed heavily so Ill get a good number waiting on the handicap but cant see this total dropping just getting more costly. These teams are quite familiar with each other and defense is never on the menu. Brazils looked shaky on the back end and Chile has shown a willingness to push forward. Brazil is always ready to put on a show, if Chile gets ahead look for Brazil to attack hard, if they score early theyll counter with class while Chile tries to push forward, either way this game is going to be offensively minded and that is never a guarantee but ill take my chances on teams who want to put up goals to get them.

Cant see much offense coming in this one, Uruguay is handicapped with no Suarez so I think they shut it down and hope to take it the distance. When one teams vastly more skilled than the other these are the games you tend to see.

didnt post it so wont count it, woke up late so once Holland went down in live play I got Holland to advance @+ 282 x .25 unit, just a small play to make it fun and it won so I got a little more play money for the later game

This play just feels dirty, I hate betting shit teams and Greece to me is the least talented in the quarters but this is a match up play. Costa Ricas been a great story but theyve gotten to upset some pretty solid on paper squads in not ideal form, so to me they come in inflated which is a great time to bet against them and this is a different situation. Theyre the favorite here, theyve got the talent, its going to be on their foot to create and press instead of letting the game come at them, theyre not going to be lucky to keep it close anything but a win is going to be a bad result. They play normally a similar game to Greece, not quite as offensively retarded but happy not to be reckless and attacking but opportunistic, but now its going to come down to one team playing how they play and one in Costa Rica who is going to be put into a position theyre not used to, edge to the team playing within their gameplan... I think the CRicans get frustrated by this shit Greek squad who showed theyre pretty scrappy when need be on counters. I think theyll catch the CRicans here and could win this by a couple when its all said and done

I know it's chalky as hell but if Germany can't beat this squad in reg then they're in trouble and a goal is a min for a win so just covering my ass but I like the germans to pad the score as the Algerians try to push up and catch up as the game progresses.

Slimani is the Algerians best option for a goal upfront but the Germans have been balling together a hell of a long time, they're steady on the back end and they're not going to be caught off guard by the Algerians. Algerians may well score but it's going to take some class to do it and not just athletic talent by one individual as they've managed to get by with in a couple of their matches so far... I'm betting they don't find that class today against a tough opponent who won't give up a load of chances.

my favorite bet of the day, I expect the Algerians to play hard defense in this game, the germans aren't going to be as hard pressed to defend as much so I believe the bulk of the cards coming will be going the way of the Algerians as they try to keep this match tight. The ref involved in todays match did the honduras france game in which he red carded a player so he's not afraid to flash the card. Germany for the tourny has had few red cards, they're not an overly physical team just a smart team, looking for the less talented team to do what it takes to stay in this and if they gotta take a few cards so be it.

Colombia is getting all sorts of love and theyve become the darling of this tourny to anybody outside of Brazil but as classy as theyve looked they are seriously untested. Greece was a frustrating squad but not a great one, Ivory coast talented but not overly cohesive and prone to lapses, while Japan was just awful. Then Uruguay without Suarez and you get a team that has looked class but about to face their stiffest test yet. Brazil for their part played 2 teams that were in top form and got thru, including a nasty match up with Chile, this teams going to be ready to go and the time to fade them as ive done nearly all tourny is gone, time to back talent and experience and the hot tender. Getting sick of these regulation losses so went with the to advance bet.

Germany France no play, honestly have no feel for this game, either team winning wouldnt surprise me, I could see it ending in regulation or going to pks, its about as open as it gets to me. Ive gotta look over the props more carefully but I like france to score so might be some play in that direction, just dont know which play if any yet.

Nuckers, we have had the same train of thought throughout.... I agree. Chile is a more dangerous team than Colombia... Brazil balance will expose Colombia backs in the long run of the match.

I can't make a play on this Germany/France game until I see the lineup...

I like Colombia today, but must admit I'm starting to feel as though I'm being led to the slaughter here. I just can't wrap my head around Brazil. Are they the beast ready to explode or are people being blinded by the history and host status and this side just isn't as world class as usual. I haven't been impressed at all this far by the Brazilians, but you know they are capable of great things and I still think they have the best back line in the tournament. They literally seem to have nothing offensively besides Neymar, Hulk, Fred, Jo, etc have been atrocious thus far. The pressure is obviously immense as nearly the whole team broke down as if they won the Cup after a round of 16 win.

I have a feeling we will know this one early in the match, either kicking myself for playing Colombia as Brazil shows their true colors or Brazil is what we thought as I kick myself for switching and being snookered into a team whose "name" far exceeds their talent.
