Played out like I thought it would. Spains decline came quick but Chile and Holland are top squads, this wasn't them and Spain laid a classic tiki taka beatdown on them. Spains going to be an interesting bet come Euro, there is still talent that isn't in complete decline and lots of young talent coming up, may surprise.

Brazil -2 @ -152 to win 2 units. I wish I posted this earlier as the lines just taken off but in truth I wasn't sure I was gonna keep the play. I don't love betting big handicaps at hefty chalk when teams can advance on a draw but after thinking about it, Brazil at home against a team that'll finally let them put on a show. I don't see Brazil laying off and taking the w, I see them going at the cameroon squad relentlessly and if they can put up 10 they'll do it, there's no mercy rule for Brazil lol....unhappy with their last performance I think now is the time to get their offensive game on. Neymar to put on a show for the home faithful.

This one was a tough one but in the end is a gut feel. Croatia is the far more talented squad individually, but as a team the mexican squads proven to be a nasty piece of business to go up against. All the pressure is on Croatia, they need to press, they need to score, they can't have the draw, so they'll be open to counters and this pesky Mexican squad just feels like they're going to ruin another day for an on paper more talented squad.

Yeah I played it at pinny this morning when they still had the line at -2.25. Having sportsoptions pays off, I saw all the other books at -2.5 so figured they'd be moving the line eventually and got in just to make sure I had it.

Cameroon giveth and Cameroon taketh away. They had to score to ruin the correct score plays, that would've been a nice hit on the 4-0 but that got killed early but they gave up the 4th goal to secure the 3 goal win for Brazil and I hit the bigger play.

Mexico, just as I hoped, countered beautifully. Watch out Holland, they are gonna be a bitch of a match up.

I dont think Costa Rica can afford to let up any momentum, theyre on a roll and when youre on a roll and not that good you dont upset that roll so I expect them to be game for this one. Not a huge play as im going back to a gut feel and seeing as they dont need this match motivation is a question so keep it small but theres no resting players, theres no half ass for Costa Rica and dont think everybody isnt happy to beat up on England so a dabble on the costa rica magic ride to continue

No play on the other game, my lean is Italy but after those last performances by either squad I dont want to count Suarez out and I dont want to count on Italy.

Greece could draw this out but thats the only scoreline I see the Greeks generating that could hurt me here. Ivory coast is class, theyre physical theyre fast they can put the ball in the back of the net but theyre organized so theyre not going to give up a ton going the other way. The IC soccer management has put a bounty on this game, they get the win they get double the pay and theyve got Drogbas last tourny and any number of reasons to get this W. Nothing but incentive and a bad team sitting on the other side, ill take my chances on these type of match ups anytime.

ugh should've sat this one out as initially planned, was feeling hot, hot test failed lol.

Rough afternoon after a decent start to the day. Livid still over the ivory coast result, sure as a bettor but as a fan worse, hate to see a team go out like that despite them looking half disinterested most of the game. Expected more. Cant wait to see Greece get their ass handed to them but Costa Rica next round is a dream draw for them, the Costa Ricans love to be that dog, now they'll be the fave and face a mirror image that defends better. If they sneak past CR next round is their max, IC could've done some damage, disappointing.

Swiss are the better team on paper no question but with the complete dismantling by France, I believe they show up shaky vs a pesky Honduran squad. The longer this game goes without the Swiss running away with it, the more frustrated they get and the more likely Honduras can sneak the W. Long shot on the w, draws more likely but lets gamble

Belgium -.5 @ -110 to win 1 unit

I expect Belgium to rest players so the lineup really isnt relevant its more about how bad South Korea is. The back ups for Belgium are of a higher quality than the starting South Koreans and Belgium isnt resting everybody, Hazard and Martens should be starting but Mirallas should be fine in Martens spot should he find the bench any should be game to put something past the leaky Korean defense. Meanwhile Koreas gonna have a hard time putting anything in. A draw would be a win for Korea but thats a tall order. Plus a loss coupled with an Algeria win could mean playing Germany in the next round, no way they risk that imo. Game 3 trend seems to be to trust the talent. Swiss, Spain, the bad teams arent upsetting anybody it seems so ride the momentum.

Normally I like Russia to be an under team but they need to play for a win here, African squads are naturally inclined toward attacking ball so we should have 2 teams taking runs at each other. If one falls behind the other is in a really bad spot and needs to open up to catch up so one goal should spur on plenty more. It can always go the other way and tighten up but Russia would be the big influencer in that one and having decided to sub in offensive minded players the message is clear, theyre coming forward. If this goes under it shouldnt be for lack of trying.
