How is this for "suspense and drama?"

The Late Phones won 6.7 units on Saturday but turned around and lost 5 units on Sunday.

This means that there is a 1.7 net pickup.

However, the cheapest cost for a non-newsletter subscriber this week to get all of the plays including tonight's

two unit plays is 1.62 units or $162.

Thus at the moment, they are up .8 units or $8.

This means that the outcome of tonight's game will decide if Phil Steele/NC have one of those EXTREMELY RARE winning weeks,

of which there have been two or at the most three from the start of the 2022 season up until tonight!!

From what I understand, all of the major news networks and the media and of course yours truly will let you know whether

the Phil Steele/NC TRAINWRECK Late Phone picks are able for at least one week stop the carnage of anyone stupid

enough to play these picks according to scale for the last two seasons!! lol

The whole world is watching to see if Steele/NC can turn a winning week, which is about as rare an event as Halley's

Comet returning!! lol

It came down to the last few minutes, but as is usually the case with a LIFETIME LOSER like Phil Steele/NC, the 2-star pick went

down thus completing yet another losing week, although in comparison to most of the other weeks, it was a small losing week if that is

any consolation to Phil Steele, his flunky Todd the LYING Turd and any other competent involved in the selection of the NC

Late Phone Picks!!

I will have a cumulative recap in the morning!!

Here are the new record-keeping figures through last night Monday, October 16:

Coming off a 6-4 week with combined college sides and totals with their star-rated Late Phone Plays and a 2-4

in the NFL, here are the cumulative records through Monday, October 9:

College Sides and Total 22-39-5

NFL 11-15

The total cost of service is $1712 so far for a non-Power Sweep or Power Play subscriber.

A $100 player playing these games according to scale and adding in the cost of service is MINUS $8237!!

ps College sides are now 14-28-2 or 33.3% which in effect picks right up where they left off last season with sides finishing at 37%

for the ENTIRE SEASON!!

One last thing before lunch.

Since I consider myself a flexible person and open to suggestions, I have decided that unless there is some objection in the other NC

Thread, starting today or actually last Saturday, I am going to post the NC Late Phone Plays when I see them posted.

There are two conditions thought:

As was the case on Saturday and Sunday, the NC plays were posted in plenty of time to repost them. which in turn allowed me to copy and

paste them.

Moving forward, when they are posted prior to the games with at least some time to spare, I will post them.

However, if they are posted right near gametime when I am still deciding what plays from other services I am going to play

or they are posted after some of the games begin, I am going to post them when it is convenient for me to do so.

Hopefully, that will help address the concerns and criticism that I should post the plays as well as the records and commentary.

So you decided I was correct that it makes it a more informative thread by including plays. Dog is never too old to learn....this thread might actually have legs.

PS...don't kill it with a 5 paragraph response

If it makes you feel better, yes upon further review I decided that what you said makes sense subject to my conditions!!

I don't want to be like some of the folks in the IVU Thread, namely stubborn and obstinate and unwilling to listen to other

people if they have a valid suggestion to make the thread better!!

To be clear, I am NOT going to post Marquees, opinions comps. etc. unless they are included as part of the plays posted which

include the Late Phones which are the subject of this thread.

Hi Savage:

As always, great stuff. You would think Phil would at least give his "client" a free week of his service plays, but his ego won't allow him to do such a thing. Keep up your solid work!

Hi BLB,

Thanks for the well wishes!!

I agree with you that Phil at the very least should give away a free week of the Late Phones when he has a losing

GOM, which in actuality would be just about every week!!

While you are correct in saying that his ego prevents him from doing what you suggest, he is also one cheap co cksucker!!

In fact, four or five year ago when I was posting my NC Thread at another Forum, there was one well-known insider at NC

who chimed in on occasion and knew the inner workings because a friend worked there.

Anyway I am quoting what he said although I don't have verification of it, namey that Phil Steele was/is is so cheap that he forced

employees to punch out when they needed to use the restroom!!

Now if that is not being cheap, then what is!! lol

Now that's a cheap motherfker! Do you remember when his plays came out on Saturday mornings. It was usually 5 plays (no more, no less), he had three 4* plays and two 3* plays. Plus 3 over/unders and 3 small school plays. Now, it's 5-7 sides, sometimes 4 over/unders and at times 4 small school plays. Hell, if you were constantly losing on the smaller card, then why add 2-4 more plays a week? And that's not counting his marquee plays. Wow! Or maybe it's just me!...LOL

Great points that I have thought about myself!!

As I see it, for some fu cked up reason, Steele being the arrogant and condescending AHOle he is, believes that the way to

get people to buy his/NC picks is to do it by trying to give out at least as many picks as other services do, and in essence consider

it as a numbers game ONLY rather than concentrating on the real reason that virtually no one gives a flying f uk about his plays these days

other than faders because they are so horrible!!

I have to think that the OVER in the Ohio State/Penn State has a great chance of being the TOM.

Not only does recent history support this pick but the fact that it is an early start means that Todd can try to get people

to panic and buy the pick either separately or as part of a bigger package in order not to be shut out!!

A quick check looks like NC went 6-5 today and lost 1.9 units that is like winning for them!! lol

They did lose their TOM on OVER on San Jose, and frankly they deserve it with laying an insane 65 or 66 points as the GOM.

Also according to the Sports Monitor the play was OVER New Mexico/Hawaii which was a winner and not OVER New Mexico State

as posted that lost on Thursday.

I will official recap in the morning.

The record posted above was confirmed by Todd on the comp. line yesterday.

In addition, he reverted to something which to their credit they haven't done it a couple of years until yesterday, namely

making excuses for two of the college losses stating that they could have easily been 5-1 instead of 3-3!!

Hmm-it goes without saying that if they won a couple of games because of a few good breaks, Steele and Todd would never mention

that!!

Then again when a service like NC is desperate because they do nothing but lose, this kind of tactic is not surprising!!

A great day for the faders as Late Phones go 0-3 and only one win so far with the Marquees.

For anyone interested, the Sports Monitor credits NC with a 2* winner tonight on Minnesota.
