documented about them for around 20 years in different forums!!

the well by stating that your approach is right and mine is not and there is no interest, whereas I have shown that since I started
this thread I have gotten an average of about 117 hits a day for me, which by my standards is sufficient for me to believe that what I do
and WILL CONTINUE to do is worthwhile!!
In essence, my overall approach/philosophy in this thread whether it be in gambling in this thread or in the IVU Thread
is that there are lots of things in life that go way beyond making money, which includes such things as one's character
and what certain folks are as human beings!!
That includes Phil Steele/NC and in the IVU, certain well-known posters!!
I assure you that I will continue my goal and mission in both this thread and the IVU and especially if folks show interest

That is a great question and I will offer my opinion only!!
Imo the reason that we are having trouble getting the picks this year as well as last year as opposed to other years is simply
because not many people are buying them because they are/have been awful, meaning because of the numbers and using logic, that
fewer people are likely to post them!!
Imo it is not because Phil Steele/NC have more loyal followers and/or that he has threatened to cut off their picks if he catches
them posting them! lol

experience and debating skills, etc and who is so bothered by this that he needs to try to diminish the capabilities I have
by doing what folks of his ilk do, namely trying to bully, name-calling and insults!!
The thing that bothers me the most about Steele/NC is not that their record is so horrible, especially their Late Phone College Side
Picks that are hitting at 28.5% so far for this season and 37% for last season, one of the worst percentages I have ever seen in my
tracking sports services since they began in the mid to late 70's!!
The REAL problem is that during the week when they pump their weekend package, which usually consists of a SCRIPTED Game of
the MONTH, they find something out of the zillion types of services that have done well over a very carefully selected time frame
that had done well, state the record and simply imply that this is all that matters and why people should purchase one of the packages,
However, the issue is that they not only pump the play that has done well but they also include this play as part of the packages
that have not done so well without stating how well or in this case how poorly these plays have.
For example when they pump a GOM of something that has gone 3-0 so far this season and then also include that play as part of
a bigger and more expensive package without stating how the OTHER plays in the package have done because they have shit
the bed, which is just plain wrong, shows no heart or concern whatsoever if people should lose and big if the other plays
lose and continue to lose.
Using the example of the horrific college sides, if they want to pump the GOM for this season because it has done well, well
fine!!
However, when they want to include it as part of a package that includes the college picks, without somewhere along the way
at least indicating that folks should proceed cautiously because they have been ice-cold, at best that is not being
transparent and at worst SCAMDICAPPING and if sports services really had some legitimacy, CRIMINAL in intent!!
In short, imo no matter whether it be in sports service marketing or for that matter anything in life, the ends do not
justify the means, and in instances like this the tactics used in such instances need to be stated to let folks who may be unaware
of the modus operandi involved!!
I pride myself in my own small way in doing this to Phil Steele for as long as I have and will continue to do so until
I see some honesty and compassion on their end!!

services, they haven't updated the Northcoast Records in almost two weeks and whether they dropped them or the the Sports
Monitor from coverage and if so, why.

Since the Sports Monitor finally updated their record keeping for NC, I am going to make several changes to their record.
First of all I gave them an L for their 2* pick on October 2 since they never said how they did, no one responded to my request if they knew
the play according the the Sports Monitor.
It turns out they had Seattle , which was a winner.
This results in a 4.2 swing in the deficit from -2.2 to +2.
In addition, I didn't count the 3* loser on OVER Buffalo last Sunday in the early because there was some question that it was released
prior to when it started.
The Sports Monitor confirmed that it was.
Thus this results in a -3.3 adjustment.
The net change with the two picks is a +.9 for NC.
