if he were to pass NFL better treat this extremely delicate.

They already aren't PR darlings with all their other fuck ups and their game.

If they just try to quickly move on from a guy dying on their field in front of millions----well...

You really believe you're going to see other teams jumping around and celebrating plays and wins when this guy just died on the field. Bills really going to just keep playing in his memory?

It will be hard to move on from that...
Oct 25 1971 Detroit Lions Chuck Hughes died on the field in Detroit. He was carried off the field on a stretcher, put in ambulance taken to Ford hospital where he was pronuced dead. The game was finished that day. Chicago won. How did these players move on?

I don't think next week (1/15) is going to just be Bengals/Bills and nothing else.
Exactly there’s no way the nfl is going to forfeit saturday the 14th-Monday the 16th . If they do hopefully they announce it sooner then later so I can change all my accommodations. I’m sure there’s plenty of people in same boat.

Doubt NFL would want to schedule a game for this Monday night with CFB championship game on center stage.

Accommodations for what? How do you know who is playing and what day they are playing?

The only home teams that we know of so far is Minny and TB

Play week 18 as is then flip a coin Monday

After results flip a coin bill v Bengal. It’s the easiest thing to do without giving advantages or rescheduling nightmare or forcing a team to play 3 games in 8 days with third a playoff and most meaningful game

Bills and Bengals play this week in games they both need vs teams who need it as well. So no advantage is obtained that way either. Then Monday flip a coin. Fair or not it’s the easiest way. Hell every game is a coin flip anyway these days.

Both teams chose to not play. Their fate should be a coin flip

Kc already screwed it up losing to both teams. That’s on them. They deserve no beneficiary in the matter.

Flipping a coin is almost the same as other aspects. Tie breaker is used by conference record and h2h and division and down the line. Hell the last outcome is literally a coin flip

Conference record isn’t fair if team A has 5 games vs colts Texans Broncos. If team B has zero vs them. Conference or not that’s not fair

Teams walking off field and deciding to not play today or yesterday is on them. Regardless circumstances.

If KC could have beat Buffalo or Cincinnati it wouldn’t be such a big deal. So kick them out the equation. Give them the choice to make game up after Sunday. If they choose to then it’s on them and one team will have to play 3 games in 8 days. I’d imagine that option or flip a coin for seeding. I say they go the coin flip route. Not worth playing 3 games in 8 days. I’d take the forfeit before having to make up the game

Too much $! Too much safety n concern over sport now and days as is. Doubt players and fans and millions on TV watched chuck getting CPR for 9 minutes on the field. That’s a pretty narly scene plastered all over tv and people watching last night. NFL gets destroyed by media they finish the game. Not the same as stated 50+ years is different then the chuck situation
