They shouldn’t make up this game at this point

Cincy and Buffalo finish with 16 games played
If that happens , and just looking at it from a wagering aspect, Spoortsbooks would have to refund win total wagers since the teams didn't play the full schedule. Even though both teams went over, you still have to complete the schedule.

But what about the players union and getting payed. Do they not get payed for this game.? Not sure how it all works but was under impression you have to play to get payed

Nah
That is giving KC a huge advantage
I am okay with the game not being played but I want the teams to decide
It is all about choice
Not mad if they decide not to play given the circumstances

But KC hasn't earned shit unless they want to give home advantage based on win % this year that would be fine then Bils have a chance based on winning last game
If they end 13-3 they would get home advantage
Lets see KC complain about it and the circumstances lol
I would say under the circumstances Buffalo not caring much about home field advantage at the moment

But yes I do agree it should be something agreed upon by the two teams

A tie without consulting both teams wouldn’t be fair either — again, unless both teams agree to it

Make the game up - start in the blame spot they stopped - no need to cancel the season - the injury was a total fluke - could have happened in MMA, lacrosse or baseball

Had to edit my comment as Bills would not win based on win % if they don't play

My best guess is that they won't continue the game. I can't see them putting it as a tie either. I would make an educated guess that the NFL acts as if the game wasn't played and the Bills & Bengals will play just 16 games.

What if this was to happen in let’s say Tenn Jacksonville game on Saturday will it be declared a tie . Not an easy decision but we all know what has to happen to legitimize season .

Between the two Championship games and the Super Bowl there is a week off that no football games are being played. They have a week to move everything back. They do not have to play any football games this weekend. Also, there is no Monday Night football game next Monday, so they can play this game next Monday. If they do not want to play any games this weekend they can skip it and play week 18 the following week instead. By playing no football games this weekend, they can play the following week and push all the playoff games back one week, and as a result they will not have a week off between the two Championship games and the Super Bowl.

play the game on Thursday. Move next weeks week 18 games back to monday or Tuesday for bills/pats and Bengals/ravens is my guess.

Not a horrible solution. Just shrinks game quite a bit to first playoff games

On Fanduel they paid out based on points at the time......seems bogus, unless you are the winner or course.

Another option besides the one I just suggested above is that they could cancel the game between the Bills and Bengals altogether and just play the week 18 games as scheduled.

on some level they almost have to . The amount of accommodations and money that will be lost from all the venues And surrounding areas. Seems easier to cancel or move 1 game as opposed to the whole league being turned upside down. I would think will hear from the league at some point Today

This is exactly what I was thinking, & makes sense.
