CFB Advisor came off a couple bad weeks, lets see if they can turn it around today. Beginning today I will be limiting my posting here at the Rx to the Newsletter Thread. A divorce from the rest of the Rx was probably overdue.

I see Bob lost his Colorado State game last night, bringing his pick record in the contest to 11-2, about an 85% win rate. His top pick is Central Michigan -3 against Ball State which goes off at 3:00 PM EST today.

To answer your question from the previous page:

The way that I use the newsletters is to create a spreadsheet and track the performance of each newsletter for every team and conference. I usually ignore whether or not they are recommended plays, but look to see if they have a good record either picking for or against that team. That gives me an idea of how tuned in they are to a team or conference. For example, Gold Sheet hasn't missed on their picks for SD St, EMU, UVA and Utah this season. This is good information for me to use and complement my own handicapping.

I watched the game. Colorado State had a 10 point lead until some unfortunate officiating and crazy bounces of the ball allowed the Lobos to score inside of a minute to play. Yes, a very bad beat!

Thanks for posting We be Bad. You have always been a solid poster here at the Rx. Between you and me I am so angry at the Rx right now - I will never post a service play again! I am only posting here in the Newsletter Thread. But as angry I am with the Rx, I am even more angrier right now with this so called handicapper Bob Dietz. I promoted him as the leader in the Vegas Wise Guys Contest and plugged his top pick on Central Michigan -3 and then we had to sweat the whole game out and on top of it all Central Michigan only covered by 44 points. Like I said: I am so pissed!
