Zcode Fade The Public Plays for week 3:

Week 2 was another winning week for us at 2-1 ATS and improves our YTD to4-2. Let’s see if we can keep it going with a few potential plays for Week 3.The main strategy I want to implement is fading the public. Books are alwayslooking to exploit public perception so hopefully we can find a few winners byfading the public in a few heavily public-bet games. Obviously,
this is writtenon Tuesday (9/19) so always keep an eye on the changing lines and percentages.

DENVER @ BUFFALO
Denver put on an impressive display while dismantling the Cowboys last weekand the public will be expecting similar results against a mediocre Bills team.Taking a look at ZCode’s Line Reversals Tool we can get an early breakdown:
This is Denver’s first road game and they have to travel across the countrywhile facing a Buffalo team that will be looking to bounce back at home. Let’stake Buffalo +3 (Bookmaker)

PITTSBURGH @ CHICAGO
The Steelers are the better team and the public has reacted.
But the Bears are desperate for their first win of the season and, playingat home, will make a huge effort to get a win. And all we need is a loss within8.5 points so let’s take Chicago+8.5 (5Dimes).

OAKLAND @ WASHINGTON
Oakland, and Marshawn Lynch’s dancing, embarrassed the Jets last week and thepublic loved it.
This is the late Sunday night game and I expect a big effort from Washingtonwith all eyes on them. This is another chance for us to catch a home underdogin a good spot. Let’s take Washington+3 (BetOnline)

I live in Vegas-if you go against the money-you will win more than you lose-First week-everyone was on Pats-this week books were loaded on on Rams-started at 2.5-went to 3-surprise-they won by 2-Yesterday they were loaded on Miss State-the one that gets me the most was Super Bowl with Pats and Seahawks-they were loaded with Seattle money-Vegas would have lost millions if Pats lose.

The three NFL underdogs (Bills, Bears and Redskins) all won outright. Were you tempted to take the money line on the Redskins Beerman1600?

More newsletter tracking

Mendoza Line cumulative year to date record:

Not every newsletter gets posted every week, and I'll try to note when the record doesn't include every week of the season.

Another note is that the grading is based on the line indicated in the newsletter at the time of publication, not the closing line. Many of these newsletters will claim a win against the best available line as it moves throughout the week, but these records reflect the outcome against the line they were willing to make a play on in their newsletter.

Just so we're clear on how grading worked this week, there were a few outcomes that would have been different depending on when the pick was made. Power Sweep had a loser with San Diego State -5, which would have been a winner for anyone who waited to buy it at -1.5 or -2 by Saturday. On the other side of the same game, Sports Reporter had Air Force +3.5, graded as a loss as well. Similarly, Ball State +9.5 was a loser for Gold Sheet, but Ball State could have been a winner for some who waited for a higher line. Two newsletters, Red Sheet and CKO, had West Virginia graded as winners, but many people lost with WV as the line got 3 points higher by Saturday.

One Bet a Week Strategy

Buzz-i was down 400-i made 420 on Z code fade-so i was up a whole 20 dollars for the week-i was just happy to be even-this Z code is good!!!

Washington another good pick from him!!!

Hope he post this week

Hopefully d3nv3r will post that next week Beerman. I was looking at this years and last years newsletter records and one thing stood out:

Victor Kings's Totals Tipsheet
3* (3-0) (these were 13-5 last season)

King Creole, aka Victor King's top newsletter pick has went 16-5 this year so far and last year. One strategy would be to just bet this one play with a good portion of your bankroll each week (say 20% as an example). In Vegas, you would want to subscribe to the Totals Tipsheet to get the 3 star play as soon as possible to shop around right away for the best line. You would have your one bet in early in the week and it all might be less stressful.

i hate how these guys put out these letters and then chnage their picks for the one you buy. Lawrence has Boise St winning by 10(not covering) but it wasn't a big pick. Then on gameday he has it(Virginia) as his big ATS lock. If it was that good why didn't he have it as one of his picks? Blah. Too much deceit with all these guys

He liked Virginia in the Playbook and gave it out as a winner on Thursday night...... it wasn't rated or anything special, so I ask... what is your point? He didn't change sides.

King Creole issued his College Game of the Month on the Saturday Services Forum as Wyoming *OVER* 55 1/2

Wyoming won in OT 28-21. The Cowboys scored a TD on their opening possession of OT. Wyoming then intercepted a pass by Hawaii on their first play after Hawaii had gained a first down on their first possession of OT.
