Did they refund the money of any people who made "correlated" bets and lost? If not, they truly are scamming scum.

They've already admitted they aren't going to do that either. It's real simple, in the last 6 weeks if you bet these undefined parlays and won they confiscated your money, if you lost than they keep your money as well, those bets are allowed. Nice gig if you can find it. Especially if you don't face any repurcussions from sites like this, you will always have fresh meat coming in that won't know any better.

EOG another good watchdog site much like this fine site just dumped co owned sportbook.com companies from having a banner there due to the theft. I expect Rx to do the same in a day or two. sad situation here sportsbook has pulled.

Are you serious? I have to give that site some bigtime props if that's true.

They made a good long term choice.

Very "sharp" play on their part.

baby steps, baby steps.

When you are #2, you knock away one brick at a time at the #1 player in your industry. Will this one single move make them #1=hell no.

baby steps.....

one sharp move at a time.

A mod here, a bad book booted there, a better contest here........before ya know it, you are knocking on #1's door step.

3 xtry, just using Atiyeh and ESB as an example. A contemporary comparison is the Spielman Boys at BET US. They'll take all the correlation you desire but will not pay large winners. Sportsbook.com is paying double their advertisement fees here in order to keep the banner up. HEEELLOO is Shrink AKA Ken Weitzner a silent owner of this site.

Congrats To Those Two Sites. Just Need One More.

Well at some point in time, when you have to begbegbeg to have something done, when it is finaly done, it doesn't have the meaning it could and should have.

What would have been WAY COOL, is from the sec it was learned that some shaddy deals went down, the ad was pulled.

NOW that would have made an impact on the folks that post here.

"wow did ya see what rx did, that _____ book screwed some players, and the RX told them to take their ad $ and shove it up their ass, man rx is cool".

That chance is now gone. What we will hear now if the ad is pulled is

"yeah, rx pulled the ad, after the other sites did, and people were bitching and moaning, they didn't want to refund the ad $, but they had to"

Across the street....

SPORTSBETTING.COM DROPPED AS A SPONSOR- WE ENCOURAGE ALL OTHERS TO DO THE SAME!!<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

We try to give each of our advertisers the benefit of the doubt whenever possible. There is no way to defend the blatant THEFT that occurred to some of our posters and fellow gamblers with accounts at Sportsbook.com and their associated properties.

Up until today, Sportsbetting.com, part of the Sportsbook.com family, was one of our advertisers.

Eye On Gambling is dropping them due to the fact that they admitted to stealing money from 31 accounts; the total amount is at the minimum in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

EOG will not and cannot condone this behavior.

Sportsbook.com can't retroactively cancel winning parlays because they finally recognized there is a higher than normal correlation between certain events. They have been accepting these parlays for years. It was their poor internal controls that allowed them. They need to lick their wounds, adjust their software, and move on.

Until Sportsbook.com makes this situation right with the players being STIFFED, EOG refuses doing business with them or any books associated with them.

Furthermore, although just a mere drop in the bucket, EOG intends to PAY OUT the players who were robbed from the pro rated amount of money we have left from their advertising contract with us. Eye On Gambling urges all of its competitors to do the same.

Sportsbook.com should not be given a pass here. They need to know there are consequences for their actions. The gambling community needs to take a unified stance here.

If Sportsbook.com reconsiders its position, EOG reserves the right to do likewise.

As for the good books here such as Jamaica , Skybook etc this a a black eye for you too and a desperate situation if you sit back and do nothing. Shame on you guys for supporting this site. This iindicates you agree with Sportsbook.com and perhaps some of the advertisers here think that they can get away with similar situations in the future.

smart business move there. He sees how much flack is being received here, so why not try to win the hearts of others by dropping it.

Too bad the hypocrite still has Betmania, bet911, and oddsmaker as sponsors.

RX has 2 out of 3 of those as sponsors here as well.

Last comment on this subject for me but dam I have to take back some the ctiticism of Mr. Weitzner. Good going this gives back some credibility to your past transgressions. Is Shrink's credibility up and beyond that of this site now? Never thought in a million years this would ever happen but apparently this is the case now. At some point even Shrink says enuf is enuf and doing what is right is more important than money.

Shrink did this for 2 reasons which I will list. You can decide what order they should be in.

#1 it was the right thing to do

#2 it made any other site that had not already done the same, look foolish, and he saw this as a wonderful chance to for a very small amount of $(lost ad dollars), gain an edge over the competition.

And BTW while I prop the person who started it, these threads never work. All the RX has to do is come out and face the initial onslaught, Rick did that last night. Then you bunker down and stay low for a few weeks while you get some of the more determined posters that want to vent, soon the thing is back burner and folks move on. Players get beat by open net goals, last second buzzer beaters, their wife discovers they are cheating and so on. In short life goes on. Except for a comment every now and then the posters get over it and of course the RX still hasn't burned any bridges with someone that will fill the coffers. A new stiff job appears from another sponsor that takes even more light away from this, then we repeat the above procedures all over again.

No +EV in doing the right thing if you are the RX, their money is safe. The more lambs they can lead to the slaughter the better it is for them. Just my opinion guys, carry on.

. . . . and don't drink the kool-aid.

I don't usually comment on these forums, between pharmacy school and work there just isn't much time, but the recent ADMITTED theft by sportsbook.com, is enough to even get me typing.

While the RX stance about the banner is more than beyond questionable to me, it is their business to run. However, it has been my experience decisions like this are long-term detrimental to companies. Time will tell, given that the new-world business of internet forums/advertising is still in its infancy.

Since it has been stated multiple times WE are the watchdogs and not the business, I am taking a suggestion from another poster (either five-doors or five-star) in another thread to start a title that might keep the unsespecting from heading down the path or robbery that is Sportsbook.com.

Admittedly, I would like to see this thread front and center on a daily basis, but, as stated previously, I'm often here for some of the quality analysis on Saturday and Sunday only. Anyone that can lend a hand, all help would be appreciated (Time To Pay - I know you're on a lot. Hope you know I don't know you from Adam and am just breaking balls).

Good luck to all players involved in the theft. And, again, NEWBIES BEWARE OF THIS SPONSOR.

maybe thrx is an http://affiliates.commissionaccount.com/processing/clickthrgh.asp?btag=a_3259b_341

.....getting commission?
