Been reading this thread since it's inception and understand the frustration of seeing the lack of balance resulting from the favorites winning. But, quite honestly, more concerned about the constant lean in this thread to the dog. Agree that value always is with the dog and to be successful in this business, one must play a heavy dose of dogs. That being said, more importantly, cap the game first. If it caps out the dog, all the better. If it caps out the favorite, then so be it. If you want to be successful in this business, you must have balance on both sides of the spread sheet. Take the dog when it figures not just because it is the dog. And don't think that sharps are always on the dogs and squares on the favorites. Sharps have balance and squares make the same mistakes over and over again.
