Read all the stuff I wrote in this thread. Was I objective even though I'm a homer? I think so.
- The Celtics starting six - Tatum, Brown, Holliday, White, Porzingis, Horford are the best in basketball by far. They all can hit shots (inside or outside) and they all can play defense. 9 blocks!!!
- Luka will get his. Cryrie ain't all he's made out to be. He flopped the last game and that won't be the last time he flops in this series.
-downplay Porzingis at your peril. He's a big stud. Fits in beautifully with this team.
- Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown have grown this season. They no longer feel the need to play hero ball. They distribute the ball and get everyone else involved. They no longer stand around shooting threes. They will often take the ball to the hole. You may have noticed that Tatum only scored 16 points and the Cs still blew Dallas out. That says a lot right there.
- Mazzulla is effectively using his bench. No one is bent over pulling on their shorts when there is a break in the action. Helps both offense and defense.
- This is a much different team than '22 against Golden State. Different coach. And different players to go along with Tatum and Brown. And those players - White, Holliday, and Porzingas make this a much, much better team.
Celtics -6'
Under 215
They know they've sucked in Game Twos just like everyone knows. They'll be out to reverse that trend tonight.
Good luck.
