Yep just what the Mavs wanted
Brown a Tatum looking so solid...I think Dallas is being over sold by some pundits.

Not playing the series although I agree with you on thinking there is decent value on Dallas if you like the bet.

GL if you're down

We'll see

I think we know what we'll get from those guys. Going to come down more to how guys like White, Horford play IMO

Are you implying this layoff is better for Dallas rather than Boston?

Or just that Dallas is happy they wrapped up their series with Minnesota quickly?
I think it is good for both teams

I think it is especially good for Dallas that they wrapped it up early to let Luka get some days off since he's hurting a bit

But it is by no means a bad thing for Boston, unless Game 1 is the game they for whatever reason choose to come out a little unfocused (it seems to happen once a series this year)

Jury is still out on Porzingis

We'll see
"Porzingis has been taking part in multiple team scrimmages over the past few days and has yet to suffer any setbacks on his injured right calf."

20.1 points and 7.2 rebounds on 51.6% shooting from the floor and 37.5% shooting from three.

If he's 90% Dallas will have there hands full...

GL if you are on it..

Upgrade i think.
Porzingis over Horford when healthy, wouldn't you agree on that?

Is porzings on a one year contract?

Downplay Porzingis at your peril.

Not only is he an "A" player by himself but he now gets to spell Horford, which will make Horford more effective.

And don't underestimate Derrick White. He is the most underrated player in the league. He affects the game in all ways, O and D.

And don't forget the experienced rock, Jrue Holliday.

The Cs are much deeper and well rounded than they have been since the Garnett years.

Horford has been horrible for stretches.

I wouldn't call Porzingis an "A" player

He's a very skilled big man, and has great size. But he lacks toughness, especially on defense, and you can bet Mavericks will be deliberately trying to target him when Luka has the ball in pNr,

Luka will absolutely devour him. You have to hope he gets lazy and settles for 3's and isn't cooking

Porzingis is a much better option to have offensively though than in years past

Not really downplaying. Just saying the jury is still out. He's not a superstar, and he's not healthy

And Celtics with this core have a history of not playing their best on the biggest stages, that's just a fact

This isn't their fault, but they went through maybe the easiest path to the Finals in history (of this format) . Nothing they can do about that, but that's just reality. They remain relatively untested

On paper they should win the title, but they have to reverse history a little bit

Number 1 seeds with a better record have only lost 1 time in the finals. It was Barkleys first year with the Suns and he lost to Jordan. I could only guess but I would think the Bulls were still favored by Vegas at the time even though they had 5 less wins they were going for a 3peet
