What we learned

C's are the best team

C's are great on both sides of the ball

Jason Tatum won his first title at a younger age than MJ & LBJ

If Big Al doesn't retire, their entire rotation returns

They will be favorites to repeat, but that's a long hard year away

AND, Luka and Cryie are not and never were the two best closers on basketball. I laughed at that take

The C's won has a team. When they played hero ball, they sucked. As hard as it may seem, I think they grow from this

Back to the glory days of Celtic green.

Hell of a job Brad Stevens.

Anybody think they won’t repeat?

On paper, they should be healthy favorites to repeat.

A lot of unknowns around playoff time — will everyone stay healthy? The East was depleted by the end, and even Celtics had a major piece injured

What’s clear about this playoff cycle is that the league is becoming a lot more match-up dependent — which I personally like. I think that was especially true out west:

Nuggets matched up poorly against the Wolves, Wolves matched up poorly against the Mavs, who matched up not very well against Boston

A lot of young up and coming teams, though they seem more concentrated in the West.

It will be interesting to see what Milwaukee, Miami, Cleveland do this offseason

A lot of moving parts, unknowns about injuries, etc

But if Boston brings this crew back, then hard to argue they don’t deserve to be favorite

My wish as a fan of the sport is to see a Denver/Boston final. I think that’d be a very compelling series to watch

Barring injuries

C's significant favorites in the East. Bucks need another piece

In the West both OKC and the Wolves have crazy young talent. They both get better with experience. I think the Mavs and the Nuggets need more pieces.

It's hard to believe how deep the C's are. 5 starters that can score, play defense and rebound. Truly unique

That's what I wanted and expected pre Playoffs. Would have loved to have seen it.

That's what I tried to say early in this thread. They are the definition of a five man team (six really). Almost unstoppable if they share the ball and effort on D.
