I guess you're a doctor, so maybe we should trust your judgment there.

I just like calling him BITCH Jimmy. It's fun, rolls off the tongue, and seems to upset some people around here.

Give it a try. You might like it.
If Bitch Jimmy and his boys get it done tonight, this forum might end

I'm more concerned about TVs, wives, and dogs getting the shit beat out of them in various poster's houses sprinkled throughout the New England area. Would be an absolute war zone.

I'm big on the ethical treatment of women and dogs. Not so much the TV's.

It's all moot. The Beantown Boys are gonna take a stand and end this shit tonight. Put the Heat in the insurmountable 2-2 hole.

Insurmountable 2-2 hole. LOL

As you know, I'm on Boston tonight. C's by 15+. Would love to see Miami win this in 6 or 7 though.

Boston should roast Miami tonight

Barring any significant loss of defensive length or Fat Lowry simply feasting

For the record I've got the Warriors in 6 vs. Boston. Can't figure out how they'll do against Miami cause they've got a helluva coach. Maybe 5 or 6 as well. For sure there won't be a 7 games series against either one.
You never know.

I think Boston has a lot more upside, but Miami definitely better coached and physically/mentally tougher than Boston. Could see Heat winning a couple games because of that, even though talent edge would be pretty tough to overcome.

Smart out

Williams in
On the Heat 6'. Smart is a huge loss for the Cs.

Hoping the Cs stil get the win. But we need his ball distribution skills, his leadership, and most importantly his defensive toughness.

There is a huge dropoff between Smart and White. Glad Robert Williams is back but it's gonna be tough without Smart.

Tatum owes y'all a good game after that pathetic performance. He'll do that

Brown had 5 turnovers in the 3rd quarter alone. He scored well obviously but needs to protect ball/be a playmaker

WE definitely need all that. But we need Smart too. For the reasons I delineated above. I know you don't think much of him. But it's Miami's D that is beating the Cs. You're an offense guy. Great defense can totally disrupt great offense. I saw the back and forth between you and PatsF. You didn't care about Kyrie's defensive liability. I agree with PatsF it counts a lot.

Point is, losing the defensive player of the year counts A LOT. Throw in his excellent point guard skills and his leadership and Marcus Smart is a key Celtic.

Boston 4-7 without Smart this year from what I'm finding. (edit: actually 4-8 if you count the playoff game)

I think the world of Smart as a competitor and defensive player. Playing through that injury in Game 3 was ballsy. Just think he is offensively challenged a lot of the time and his decision-making is questionable — though I think the latter improved a bit this season.

I picked Miami to win this series in 7 because of their defense and physical/mental toughness . I do think Boston is the better team overall and Smart gives them a toughness they need.

All that said they should absolutely still win this game without him.
