The Miami Heat didn't just struggle in the first quarter of Game 4 vs. the Boston Celtics. They had one of the worst starts to a playoff game in NBA history.

Miami shot 0-for-14 from the field to begin Monday night's Eastern Conference Finals matchup at TD Garden. It scored one point in the first eight minutes, marking the fewest points through the first eight minutes of a playoff game over the last 25 years.

The Heat didn't make their first shot until 3:22 remaining in the first quarter. That's the longest a team has gone without a field goal to start any postseason game in the last 25 years.
Might as well get their ugly game out when probably gonna lose anyway

They got the win they needed

I see the Boston line moved against me. Son of a bitch.

Feels like an easy Celtics win to me though. Doubt the point comes into play.

Yeah it was bad. Not sure I remember a series being so streaky like this. It’s feast or famine for both teams through stretches in every game.

2016 finals was kinda uncompetitive for all games except kinda Game 4 (when Draymond kicked LeBron in the nuts)

and Game 7 (when legend and future Hall of Famer Kyrie Irving hit the game winner)

Others were basically blowouts

Sometimes being wrong has its rewards. The Celtic defense dominated this one.

Will the real Eastern Conference Champion please stand up.

Gotta feeling we will see some points tomorrow night. Warriors deserve a night off on the defensive end. They've been working hard.

Relax Green and Looney. You have game 5 at home if you need it. No reason to sweat too hard. Splash it up splash triplets. Let's light up the scoreboard. Let's hit at least 216.

Nah you don’t give a lethal super team like that a free game.

The RX brain trust a week ago said Dallas was supposed to win the West. Let’s not fuck around and give this team life

Get the rest week started early

I don't think the Warriors want a game 5. Seems like they're starting to come around and realize teams need to be closed out. (unlike the 5 game series w/ Denver) Shots willf all though so I do expect points. Especially the cold streak Dallas had from the perimeter game 3? They'll go down swinging. Also I do see the refs doing whatever they can to extend the series for more basketball. But it won't happen. The Warriors see the 8 days off as an incentive to rest up and heal. It'll also be a good measuring stick to prove if they have the killer goods to close. Sh!t I guess I just made the case for a parlay GS/Over. Dallas doesn't want to go back to The Bay and get blown out anyway.

I'm fine with GS moving on tonight. And wouldn't be surprised if they sweep it. As long as the scoreboard is lit up in Game 4 I'm good.

They lost initial close out game against both Denver and Memphis. The Grizzlies game was obviously a WTF kinda game

I think they wanna right the wrong a little bit here

On another note kind of hilarious to read all the Warriors hate here lol

They've been atrocious in both series so far. More all over the place in the West, clearly anti-Miami the last two games in the East

Just atrocious

I am so sick and fucking tired about injuries

For everyone

The entire playoffs

Has there ever another post season like this?
honestly I really think its a war of atricition these days. (past 10 yrs) Kyrie, Kahwai , KD, Klay, Middleton, Devin Booker.... the list goes on. year after year.

You pull trigger on the over? Debating it myself. Only worried if Dallas shooters start cold
