and FWIW...I think he'll end up playing an outfield position ....he's well aware of the competition in the infield....he's a very good outfielder as well...he's very fast...plays ball well....even those tough ones scalded at you....

u say he wants to play infield, well there is a lot of competition all over the world for infield.
i am betting the size of the high school he started at was the smallest classification in the state?
u come off like an over enthusiastic dad. Relax, if he is good he will get offers, nowhere to hide with the internet n social media these days.

IMHO he doesn't need to hit 92 right now (not that he won't).....he really isn't keen on pitching...his crow hop throw is already in the 90s

one last bit.....Is my son really good at sports...yes..Does this mean he's automatically going to go to Vanderbilt or any other school of that magnitude..no....but as a dad I don't want to Not do the things I could do to help him facilitate his dreams...I can't coach him anymore...he's too good.
.he knows much more about his two sports than I will ever hope to....all i can do know is keep him grounded in the fundamental stuff...Getting that education IS the goal not the MLB....not the NFL...we push him academically and support him athletically....and I just hope to do the rest to the best of my ability...thanks again

Good luck to your son, keep us updated on how things are going the next few years. He's lucky to have someone interested in helping him as much as they can, a lot of kids don't have that, hopefully he's very appreciative of all you're doing.
