My realtor sucks ass - what's my recourse?

I was told 7% is standard, and all realtors in the area wanted 6-8%.

I have asked for the contract to be redrawn at 5% commission and a 60 day exclusivity, and if not I asked them to drop the listing.

wow, never heard of that high a commission. Around here it USED to be 6%, but the VAST majority now come in at 5%

My rental house is going on the market, and the selling agent gets 3% and the buying agent gets 3%. The selling agent could potentially bring the buyer, and get both sides = 6%.

Yeah here the standard is 3.5/3.5, same deal though

I had an awful realtor when I bought my house. Wouldn't listen to me at all..literally screamed at her to a put of making her cry. She was a retired nurse had no clue wtf she was doing. Her boss had to come in and finish off the transaction. I still got screwed by the whole deal. Was an awful experience

Contract is binding unless there is language in the agreement allowing you to opt out or if you can prove the agent is negligent.

Ive been a licensed loan officer since 2009 and worked as an LO since 2006. Ive seen a little bit. Not worth arguing over. I could tell you a story about banks and such, but you probably wouldn't believe me anyway. Have a good day bud.
