Just woke up , going to cap the rest of the card and hopefully find a working stream for this event .

PS : I doubt it but maybe one of you guys has account at betandwin . Think those are the best odds around at the moment for some fights , 150 $ bet limit ( your stake + win )

Betandwin :

Tamura is 2.40

JZ is 1.85

Nakamura is 1.90

betandwin has an F rating on sportsbookreview.

i'm always salivating over these inaccurate lines at the small shops but the hassle isn't worth it for such low limits for me. i sweat enough trying to withdraw from the big offshore sites.

thanks for the heads up anyway Brainiac.

You probably would have trouble not being from Europe , I withdraw via NETeller but all other options suck there and overall their lines are very bad for betting on anything but smaller sports .

I don't know what you guys were saying about crazy weight difference between Tokoro and Nakamura but Daisuke Nakamura weighed in just 3 pounds heavier .

Alvarez-versus-Aoki.jpg

Said Eddie Alvarez: "I'm from Philadelphia, but I love it so much here in Japan that I brought my family with me this time. Tomorrow you won't be disappointed!"

Alvarez's opponent, Shinya Aoki, whose faux-geek image has endeared him with fans, reached out to the patriots in the crowd: "People say America is the center of the world today, and even the center of martial arts is in America. I'm honored to have a fight here in Japan that is gathering world attention. Tomorrow, I hope to bring the center of martial arts back to Japan!"

Sakuraba complained about the cold

Eddie Alvarez vs Shinya Aoki

No bet

This is like betting on red/black in blackjack , value was + 130 Aoki

Mighty Mo vs Semmy Schilt

No bet

Schilt should win no matter where this fight goes but at - 600 NEVER .

Daisuke Nakamura vs Hideo Tokoro

No bet

Everybody betting on Nakamura in the last two days , I somehow fancy Tokoro to win .

Hong Man-Choi vs Mirko Cro Cop

No bet

9 Red please ... never mind ... not betting .

Kiyoshi Tamura vs Kazushi Sakuraba

No bet

Whole Japan wants Saku to win but he is shot at this point and should never enter the ring again unless he wants to die in there . I think Sakuraba still can sub Tamura if they roll on the ground but he might collapse after 1 shot of Tamura after all the punishment he took in his career , from the pics I have seen of Saku's shape I ain't betting a cent on him but cant bet against him either , after all this is Japan and we don't know if the best fighter at this point will really get the W .

Didn't realize the fight was at 68 kgs instead of 70 kgs (149 instead of 154). This benefits Tokoro slightly since he's a natural FW and Nakamura may be a little drained after cutting more than he usually does.

Still, Tokoro will weigh in at 145 or so for this fight and I would expect Nakamura to be at least 155 lbs come fight time. Weighins don't really tell the whole story. Tokoro is a FW and Nakamura is a LW (and a pretty strong one).

Same with Hansen and JZ. JZ cuts an insane amount of weight. He's about a weight class above Hansen too. I think Hansen has fought at FW in SHOOTO.

What some people might not notice with Choi is that before entering K-1 he was sirrum champ in Korea . From what I have heard they use takedowns in there and I don't think Mirko is very tough to be taken down those days especially when your opponent is twice your size . Can Mirko do anything from the bottom position to Choi ? I really don't think he can do anything other than eating punches with Choi sitting on him . After all Mirko isn't Fedor who was able to sub him with a very slick armbar , in fact first attempt was just shaken off by Choi if like he didn't have 230 lbs hanging on his arm . Tough spot for Mirko I believe especially if Choi doesn't come in shot like he did against Sefo .

Agreed, look at what Choi did to Fedor...he basically fell forward on top of Fedor and then the Sambo took over which we know Cro-Cop doesn't have no matter how much he's worked with BJJ guys

VERY good point, some shady decisions get made over there. Even non-Japanese fighters know they have to decisively win against a Japanese fighter or crowd favorite

Problem here is that you're equating the Choi we saw at Yarennoka to the one today.

Since then he's underwent surgery, posted suicidal messages on his blog, and looked like utter crap losing to a guy on a 0-7 losing streak. Then prior to this fight, he goes and says he's not in good physical health. I can't remember the last time someone going into a fight says "yeah I'm not in good health, don't expect too much."
