He was showing his frustration of the national voting landscape. I feel very similar to him for the way these votes go. Look at the under 36k bracket and how it's dominated by the left. I am sure majority of the 90% of the minority vote is included in that. There are also Mexicans/Latinos/White Trash in that class.

Bottom line is this country has become a nanny state and as that group of society grows, so will the lefts voting base. It's a tough subject to swallow. Eventually it will come full circle and people on the left that has good jobs, like yourself, will agree enough is enough with all the freebies.....As it cost you more and more money.

The funny thing is the poor people are dumb they can't see how their quality of life or economic situation has stayed even or gotten worse.

I could be wrong, but that is the main talking point. I agree if it is.

Can I ask how it is not racist?

I guess it all depends on how you look at it and where you are from, If you are suggesting that "inner city" means minority and if that is what he meant then yes it is racist. Where I come from, inner city is a lot white.

People act like these freebies just started under Obama, yes they have been prolonged but what do you think would be happening if there wasn't more relief for the poor the past few years? I mean they were on the brink at the end of the Bush Admin, I hate to keep bringing up that admin but people talk about rallying against a country, think about the poor at that time. It was going to get bad. There were no jobs being created because of the Bush Admin, the rich knew we were in a collapse and held onto their money instead of putting it into the economy or creating jobs, at the end of the Bush Admin the poor were being choked out and the rich could just sit on the money. Without the poor the economy collapses, that's just my uneducated opinion.

Really? Which "facts" and "reality" would that be?

I would have to guess the "Fact" and "reality" isn't the science cause that will have to be proven over time. The "fact" and "reality" is that there is a far more number of climate scientist who believe in man made climate change than those who do not.

Um, so?

Do you believe in the science of greenhouse gas effects ? And if so. Do you believe that co2 is a green house gas?

Greenpeace co-founder: No scientific evidence of man-made global warming

There is no scientific evidence that human activity is causing the planet to warm, according to Greenpeace co-founder Patrick Moore, who testified in front of a Senate committee on Tuesday.

Moore argued that the current argument that the burning of fossil fuels is driving global warming over the past century lacks scientific evidence. He added that the Earth is in an unusually cold period and some warming would be a good thing.

“There is no scientific proof that human emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) are the dominant cause of the minor warming of the Earth’s atmosphere over the past 100 years,” according to Moore’s prepared testimony. “Today, we live in an unusually cold period in the history of life on earth and there is no reason to believe that a warmer climate would be anything but beneficial for humans and the majority of other species.”

“It is important to recognize, in the face of dire predictions about a [two degrees Celsius] rise in global average temperature, that humans are a tropical species,” Moore said. “We evolved at the equator in a climate where freezing weather did not exist. The only reasons we can survive these cold climates are fire, clothing, and housing.”

“It could be said that frost and ice are the enemies of life, except for those relatively few species that have evolved to adapt to freezing temperatures during this Pleistocene Ice Age,” he added. “It is ‘extremely likely’ that a warmer temperature than today’s would be far better than a cooler one.”

Indeed, cold weather is more likely to cause death than warm weather. RealClearScience reported that from “1999 to 2010, a total of 4,563 individuals died from heat, but 7,778 individuals died from the cold.” Only in 2006 did heat-related deaths outnumber cold deaths.

In Britain, 24,000 people are projected to die this winter because they cannot afford to pay their energy bills. Roughly 4.5 million British families are facing “fuel poverty.”

“The fact that we had both higher temperatures and an ice age at a time when CO2 emissions were 10 times higher than they are today fundamentally contradicts the certainty that human-caused CO2 emissions are the main cause of global warming,” Moore said.

“When modern life evolved over 500 million years ago, CO2 was more than 10 times higher than today, yet life flourished at this time,” he added. “Then an Ice Age occurred 450 million years ago when CO2 was 10 times higher than today.”

Moore, a Canadian, helped found the environmental activist group Greenpeace in the 1970s. He left the group after they began to take on more radical positions. He has since been a critic of radical environmentalism and heads up the group Ecosense Environmental in Vancouver, Canada.

Moore’s comments come after President Obama declared global warming a “fact” in the State of the Union. His administration has attempted to argue that the recent U.S. cold snap was influenced by a warmer planet.

Greenpeace co-founder: No scientific evidence of man-made global warming

Lol, dude left Greenpeace almost 20 years ago and has been a climate change denier since. Let me know when he invalidates scientific research with actual research rather than the usual talking points.

This is what Greenpeace says about him...

“While it is true that Patrick Moore was a member of Greenpeace in the 1970s, in 1986 he abruptly turned his back on the very issues he once passionately defended,” says a Greenpeace statement. “He claims he ‘saw the light’ but what Moore really saw was an opportunity for financial gain.”

Hahaha, here is what Greenpeace says about this dude...

Patrick Moore, a paid spokesman for the nuclear industry, the logging industry, and genetic engineering industry, frequently cites a long-ago affiliation with Greenpeace to gain legitimacy in the media. Media outlets often either state or imply that Mr. Moore still represents Greenpeace, or fail to mention that he is a paid lobbyist and not an independent source. This page contains information about how to accurately describe Mr. Moore and to judge his credibility.

Consider Patrick Moore's own words when considering his claims and those of the nuclear industry: "It should be remembered that there are employed in the nuclear industry some very high-powered public relations organizations. One can no more trust them to tell the truth about nuclear power than about which brand of toothpaste will result in the sexiest smile,"(9) he wrote before becoming a spokesman for polluters.

Aw, how cute. The scientific illiterate quotes Greenpeace talking points rather than being able to respond to what the Greenpeace Co-founder said.

What a shocking development.

What is even funnier, is that the dumb fuck doesn't realize that [FONT=Verdana, Tahoma, sans-serif]Nuclear power plants do not emit carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, or nitrogen oxides, therefore even if the Greenpeace Co-founder is a "paid spokesman" for the nuclear industry, he has no reason to lie because the nuclear industry has nothing to gain from the assertions regarding global warming.

No worry, the people at Green Peace depend on scientific illiterates like the dumb fuck to keep the talking points going.

I'm not a scientist, I don't claim to act like I know how to prove global warming exists or doesn't. But these guys do... lmao!!!

I'm going to assume you believe in greenhouse effect. And assume you believe that co2 is a greenhouse gas. In the last 150 years do you think humans have had a net positive or net negative effect on co2 levels in atmosphere

The "science of greehouse gas effects" has a problem of showing actual real world results.

There's plenty of real world results. That's why 97% of people who research it agree that man is causing global warming.

17 years of no 'warming' is causing the cult to become ever more shrill and hysterical:

97% surveys!!!

"I listen to experts!"

Gotta love fratfraud's illogical arguments and grasping authoritarianism!

i just love how he, and the rest of the extreme global warming fringe, keeps spouting off the 97% number as if it even close to the truth.

it's basically like they can watch the jets lose 10 games in a season with their own eyes but if an anonymous poll comes up with the jets being 11-5 they'll take that record to the grave with them.

i love it. the stupidity, the ignorance, the arrogance. it's tremendous
