The same thing with those insurance companies.
I remember being in Hartford (the insurance Capitol of the world) and for months one of the large insurance companies would run radio commercials asking people to turn in thier neighbors if they "suspect" insurance fraud. I remember after listening to one of those commercials for the umpteenth time, Aetna (enormous underwriter) released thier record setting profits again and it was in the Billions.
Any dealings I have had with insurance companies, the were overcharging me, trying to not pay out fair market value for a vehicle and twice down right lying to me. Outright lies that of course they would not put in writing when I asked them to (which means they knew they were being dishonest)
Do you think Liberty Mutual would lower thier rates or enjoy higher profits if insurance fraud ended?
Again, I don't condone it but I'm not even slightly upset when I hear about it.
