tiny try on TnT vs Honduras reserves at 9:30pm

TnT risk .5u to win 1.31u

Roll tide- I just bought two tickets for the quarterfinals in Baltimore on Sunday. I am pretty certain that as a first or second place finisher in Group C the USA will play in Baltimore...can you confirm and do you know who they would play....the CONCACAF website is less than clear (but they do list Mexico and Panama playing in Atlanta on Saturday).Thanks....agree that this is a great spot to take a shot with T&T.

Finally found the answer- They will either play Honduras (assuming that Honduras win Group B- which is likely) if they lose to Costa Rica or if they draw or better vs CR they will play the third place finisher from either group A (Martinique) or Group B (El Salvador, Trinidad & Tobago, or Haiti). So long as they are group winners and Belize or Cuba don't advance as one of second best third place teams they will play Martinique. Confusing for sure, but of course they had to do everything to keep Mexico and USA separated until at least the semi's. Sorry to clutter the best soccer wagering thread on the internet.

yeah, you nailed it in following post

usa will finish first in group c...i have no doubts. USA will either play Honduras or 3rd place qualifier like Martinique or one of the group B's

here's the schedule courtesy of the wikipedia page which does a good job for the tourney including rosters. Assuming USA finish 1st, beat up on Martinique or El Salvador then would play winner of Honduras/Costa Rica in semifinal. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013_CONCACAF_Gold_Cup

MLS All Star tean just announced

MLS All-Star Gameday RosterGoalkeeper: Raúl Fernández (FC Dallas), Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake)Defenders: Corey Ashe (Houston Dynamo), Matt Besler (Sporting Kansas City), Tony Beltran(Real Salt Lake), Aurélien Collin (Sporting Kansas City), Omar Gonzalez (LA Galaxy), DeAndre Yedlin (Seattle Sounders FC)Midfielders: Kyle Beckerman (Real Salt Lake), Patrice Bernier (Montreal Impact), Tim Cahill(New York Red Bulls), Brad Davis (Houston Dynamo), Will Johnson (Portland Timbers), Mike Magee (Chicago Fire), Graham Zusi (Sporting Kansas City)Forwards: Marco Di Vaio (Montreal Impact), Thierry Henry (New York Red Bulls), Robbie Keane (LA Galaxy), Camilo Sanvezzo (Vancouver Whitecaps FC), Chris Wondolowski (San Jose Earthquakes)

not the team I'd have gone with. First off Shuttleworth (NE) deserves it ahead of Fernandez who the fans chose. No idea how Ashe gets that spot but no complaints for the rest of the defense though Ashe shouldn't be there if Borchers, Goncalves, Olave, and John are missing. I have some issues with Davis in MF but, like Henry in attack, he gets the lifetime achievement vote from fans over much more deserving players like Ferreira, Morales. Up front Keane, DiVaio, and Camilo are clearly deserving and while Wondo and Henry aren't having All Star years this group looks about right even without Jack Mac.

midseason MVP voting would be 1) Magee, 2) Zusi, 3) Camilo, 4) DiVaio but i expect Keane to have a great 2H

gold cup tonight....waiting on late team news and lineups for Cuba vs Belize. Cuba way better team but both can qualify with a big win so should be offensive match

USA 1.5u to win 1.19u

- neither side have won a meaningful match on other team's soil since 1985. Fairly meaningless match...likely the diff b/w playing Honduras and El Salvador in quarterfinals. heat a big factor and USA have only two players play full 90' in first two matches...one being the gk while only two field players (McInerney & Ashe) haven't seen the pitch. CR haven't rotated much and coach said only 3 changes to expect from Belize game so should have a bit more fatigue playing 3rd time in a week while traveling the nation (portland to salt lake to connecticut). top to bottom usa just a far better team and have played 3 solid halves out of 4 while costa rica were quite bad vs belize and in first half vs cuba. Shot difference very telling...after playing same two opponents CR sitting at 29-26 shot advantage (just 11-5 on goal) while USA sitting at 44-11 advantage (24-4 on goal). But in the end the match means nothing as both teams should be meeting again on the 24th in steamy Dallas

a couple tweets that Cuba have all 23 players present and accounted for...will play them in 1H. For either team to progress would need to win by 4 or more so rather play 1H as they could lose interest in 2H if tied. Also Cuba haven't rotated as much as Belize with 7 field guys playing 90' in first two games vs 5 for Belize so fatigue could play a factor. In Cuba's lineup only one guy, Alfonso, has played less than 149 minutes and even he played 94 so far. Belize should be fresher but still think there is a big talent game between the sides. Worth a small bet

heck of an ending in Cuba match...USA will be C1 (play ESA) with win or draw. A loss and they go to C2 spot vs Hondo

USMNT line down to -110
Don't really understand the move. I like Johnson in goal just fine....Goodson, Parkhurst, Beasley all fine in back though Orozco-Fiscal is shaky. Young, quick midfield and LD/Wondo up front. CR lots of pieces not in there like Saborio and Barrantes. Good to see Roy Miller and Michael Umana in there as they absolutely blow

Johnson, Orozco, Goodson, Beasley, Parkhurst, Torres, Diskerud, Bedoya, Holden, Donovan y Wondolowski.
Pemberton, Umaña, Díaz, Johnson, González, Miller, Cunningham, Borges, Wallace, Tejeda y Arrieta

don't feel like messing with the Gold Cup HC's so used a 3-team parlay consisting of Red Star today, Mexico, and Panama

Red Star - massive gap in ability b/w Serbia and Iceland and this Icelandic team is only 5th in local tourney. should be routine

Mexico - still not playing well but this will be their easiest match yet. TnT have no business being here and have a day less preparation and rest after a brutal 3-in-7 span. Defense is really poor and they can't possess the ball. Odds should be posted for TnT not to score on Saturday and I'd take that as well

Panama - super rested as they used reserve team in 3rd group match while Cuba rotated less than any team in the cup with 7 guys playing all 270 minutes in group stage. Now playing a team that has not only 2 day rest advantage but that didn't even use regulars since group game #2.

Red Star + Mexico + Panama 2u to win 2.20u

do blatter and platini need to be beheaded....? surely they can not be serious w/the '22 wc in the winter..totally mad, they are....we all know the bundle they must have made with that payoff to be held in quatar....they should have to live with the consequences now of playing in 150 degree heat...extremely unfortunate for all players involved, especially the euro players...these two jack asses are singlehandedly making a joke of the beautiful game

yes, everyone knew Qatar only got it due to massive bribery and this new idea of Sepp's validates it. What makes no sense is that they are currently building these venues and employing some new technology that will keep the stadium around 77-80 degrees even if it is 113-115 outside. so him using the excuse that this is for player's safety is just more crocks of shit from Sepp's blowjob hole. Funny he's now saying how he has massive support to moving the WC to winter...
