EnFuego,

I know you always have intelligent posts, but just because he wasn't charged doesn't mean he didn't do it.

I will save you the rebuttal, I also know it doesn't mean he did it, but based on his track record and not having all the facts of the case avaiable, at this point I tend to believe the victim.

You know and I know Stevens is a thug. I'm from Seattle and followed his career very closely but I know he's a goon. That said, your post very clearly said he is a rapist and that's not the case according to the law and the facts as they stand. That's all I'm saying.

Worst part is he has always been very talented.

If an accountant making 100K a year gets a DUI should he also have to flip burgers?

I don't know. Should Bernie Madoff have been given a lesser sentence than flipping hamburgers because he made over 100K a year? Apology to Bigtendominator- I misread your post.

Point being if Mike Vick should be flipping burgers like you said he should than anyone that commits the crime whether it an NFL star or accountant should received the same penalty right?

You can't deny a guy the right to earn a living if someone is willing to pay him. That would be just a goofy thing to do.

Biggest dogfighting raid in U.S. history and probably nobody on this board even knew about it:

This isnt just a simple mistake. This isnt just a run of the mill crime. What Michael Vick did was sickening, disgusting, and barbaric. I do not consider him a human being, but an animal, much below the animals he tortured, electrocuted, and drowned. Again people who hurt, abuse, torture, and mutilate anyone or anything living that is weaker than them to the point of death (children, elderly, and animals) needs some serious, serious help. They are f'd in the head.
Again it is not like Michael Vick has been this squeky clean guy. He has been in trouble with the law on numerous occasions. This guy is a thug, low-life, animal. Trouble is sure to find him again.

Let me ask you this question. Which crime was worse...Donte Stallworth killing another human while driving drunk or Mike Vick's involvement in dog fighting?

Michael Vick by far.
There is a huge difference between what Dante Stallworth did (eventhough he did kill a human being as opposed to just some dogs) and Michael Vick. Michael Vick was premeditated, disgusting, vile, and completely barbaric. Fighting dogs and then drowning, beating, torturing, and electrocuting them is absolutely sick, whether you like animals or not. They really should have locked Vick up and threw away the key. There is something seriously wrong with someone that would engage in such behavior.

Donte Stallworth had something to drink and drove which there is obviously no excuse for. He was driving 7 MPH above the speed limit. He hit a guy who was jaywalking. If you know South Florida, especially Miami, there are people all over the streets and I could easily see how someone could be hit whether you had a drink or not. What Donte did was wrong but in no way compares to the barbaric actions of Vick.
