It is one thing for nobody wanting to hire Vick. That would be perfectly fine and legitment. Sure if one of us is a FELON/Criminal most good opportunities are denied to us. But this is because the employee can FIND somebody who can do the exact same job/at exact same level without all the baggage of being felon. Vick is rare and wanted commodity. He can do things that 99% of us can't. These people will always get more chances and opportunities than the rest of us common folk. Unfair but this is how life is.

It would be totally different if the NFL decided to prevent teams from pursuing Vick. This is wrong and immoral! Vick has served his time and owes nobody ANYTHING. Being killer of dogs in NO WAY prevents him from doing his job as QB in the NFL. It is totally irrelevant. Sure if he was known gambler on sports and NFL, than you could make the argument that he should be banned because of the integrity of the game.

I say go forward and I look forward to seeing him on the field. People forget this is ALL ABOUT ENTERTAINMENT. I'm not watching NFL to be taught about morals and life lessons.

Lets all enjoy 30+ yard runs by Vick. @)

Would it not have made more sense for Vick to go to Cleveland? You Know with the Dawg Pound and such.

Don't see Vick making as much an impact as everyone else does. Has not played since 2006. He has a lot to prove. The NFL continues to get stronger and faster and all Vick has been doing is getting older. We shall see.

Phuck bastard Vick!
Hope Eagles die, and Vick gets mauled by a pitbull.

Baitdogs............ever hear about them??
Vicks' boys go to the pound and adopt docile dogs so his pitbulls can tear them to shreds to teach 'em how to kill.

Tell your kids that while you cheer on Vick the Phuck
Phuck Vick!!!

You're 100% right.........

This guy hung dogs from trees, electrocuted them with jumper cables and held them under water,” Sure give him or anyone else a 2nd chance. He served his time but should pay for his crime for the rest of his life but not in the entertainment world unless it is working a circus.

Nobody watches Football for sideshows which this will be as the season moves along. If Philly goes to Cleveland this year this will get interesting.........

It's a double edged sword, nobody's perfect but this was sick. Vick himself will say this on 60 minutes Sunday?

Asked if he was more concerned about his playing career or the dogs he hurt, Vick replied, “Football don’t even matter.”

Eagles go to Atlanta but not Cleveland............

He is a perfect fit for the city of Philadelphia and not surprising at all that the city officials had no problem with signing him. He fits right in..

Also let's not forget he is suspended the first 6 games this year right??

I am all for people rehabbing and changing their lives but this crime I can not get past and what is more sickening is that this phuck could make almost 6MM next year..

NO!! He's NOT suspended, it's provisional, i.e. dependent on the Commissioner's decision. He COULD start in the 1st game. Just that a decision will be made BY the 6th game. I hope McNabb gets so pissed that we (Vikes) get a shot at him next yr. Still won't be too late for this bunch.

I'm waiting for a Brian Urlacher type who has an eight year old daugter at home with two puppy dogs she adores just salivating when Vick crosses the line of scrimmage.
Hello Mike, welcome back to the NFL.

im a vegetarian, i love animals, have 2 dogs, and i think this is a great signing. Vick deserves a 2nd chance. Regardless what he does on or off the field it wont be good enough for 95% of the people out there who have "lived perfect" lives and have never done anything wrong. Of course you will hear the stupid responses like hide your dogs, hide your kids, etc. Everyone makes dumb choices in his/her life. He paid his dues get a life .... Let it go.... Gl vick.

Vick served his time and I think this is a good signing. You guys are right, I can't wait to see the PETA people beaten up protesting outside games. I have always maintained that society is so fucked up that more people would protest Vick than a guy that had raped underaged boys.

I personally think PETA is over the top, but they have every right to protest outside a venue.
This country was founded on protest, (see Boston Tea Party)
and to beat up on PETA protesters would be both hypocritical and un American.

Outstanding points. I am also a vegetarian and have no issue with Michael Vick.

I am still pissed that Philly let B Dawk go. This is a great signing.

He served his time, so give him another chance, I am ok with that. But I don't believe for one second that this guy has changed a bit. Just like Pac-Man, he will fvck up again and end up out of the league for good. This guy has been in making bad decisions his entire life, it is a part of his DNA. Distributing marijuana, flicking off fans, Ron Mexico, dogfighting, water bottle incident in airport, ect, ect. Think about how heinous this whole dogfighting incident was. This guy is completely soulless. Again, I am not saying that he does not deserve another chance, he does. He has paid his debt (well, some of them, creditors are probably pretty happy about the signing). But getting an endorsement from Tony Dungy is not enough to convince me that this is a good guy. Congrats Philly, your locker room has officially turn into a media circus.

lets give a guy a "2nd chance" who has flipped off his fans in atlanta, then gets caught running a dogfighting ring for 6 years killing dogs, then gets a positive drug test for marijuana while awaiting sentencing for the whole dogfighting thing...
