VD---I posted this elsewhere.......watching the GT offense perform against the IOWA defense is going to be a treat for any fan of college football......................there are going to be numerous players on both sides of the ball when these two units square off against each other that are going to be drawing a nice salary in the near future playing in the NFL.

I think one has to side with Iowa in this game......a very stout defense getting points in a bowl game is an angle that I have relished over the years.

I see this game going very much like the IOWA-OHIO STATE affair.............right down to the wire with the final score being in the high 20's, and possibly low 30's.

RIGHT NOW, I have this has my projected FINAL SCORE.......

Again, if you have read my take on this, this is 195% incorrect about this IOWA defense...........

Think about this just for STARTERS..........they have a JUNIOR DE and JUNIOR CB that right now are considering opting for the NFL draft next year...........if a player can play at the next level at DE and CB, they certainly would be considered having "speed" at the college level.

From there, we move to the Iowa linebacking trio for Angerer(1st team All-american), Edds, and Hunter.........this trio combined is definetly a top ten unit in terms of linebacking "speed" and easily a top ten unit overall in college football.

One of their interior lineman, BALLARD, was moved to the inside this year to make run for speed rusher Binns on the opposite side of Clayborn...........so with Clayborn, Binns, and Ballard on the DL, this DL is very agile, quick, and "speedy".

IOWA's great defenses of the past were completely different then this bunch they have now, as they were only slightly above average in the speed department and were more your typical smash your mouth type of defense(not to say this current defense isn't smash mouth)................but this years addition of the Iowa defense is a whole different type of unit..............a unit that I believe to be possibly the best overall defense that I've witnessed at Iowa in my 40+ years of watching Iowa football.

This is a defense that went 33 qtrs without allowing a rushing TD, has not allowed over 27 pts in over two years, and as stated, will have many playing on Sundays in the near future.

Having said that, GT's offense is so good(and will be given good field position often with Iowa's very average offense) that I still see GT putting up a number in the hight 20's..............

But make no mistake about it, this IOWA defense certainly would not be one that is classified as having no speed.

I have loved watching this entire unit perform, they are solid at EVERY position........TYLER SASH is an interception machine at safety.

He says he's taking an indefinite break from golf to focus in part on being a better husband, but People magazine says his wife, Elin Nordegren, has already decided she doesn't want him.

"She plans to leave Tiger," the magazine quotes one source as saying. Another source told People, "She's made up her mind. There's nothing to think about; he's never going to change."

"It's just an endless stream of mistresses coming out at this point and everyone is really siding with his wife," observed Jennifer Garcia, a People assistant editor.

Woods and Nordegren have been married five years and have a 2-year-old daughter, Sam, and a 10-month-old son, Charlie.

And now, a new allegation: that Woods' father, Earl Woods, was also an unfaithful husband.

Dina Parr, Tiger's high school sweetheart, told the New York Post, "He would just call crying and say, 'My dad is with another woman' So, yeah, it's interesting that's it's turning out that he's doing the same thing."

And, notes CBS News Correspondent Jeff Glor, three weeks after the bizarre car accident that triggered the unraveling of Tiger's life, he still hasn't shown his face in public, and every day, the price for a post-crash paparazzi picture of the isolated golfer rises.

"Everybody does want to see him, and that's gonna be a big picture when it surfaces, and then they'll be something else that happens that will become bigger," TMZ Executive Producer Harvey Levin told CBS News.

Tiger's celebrity friends say he's even walled himself off to them -- TNT basketball analyst and former basketball great Charles Barkley among them. "I think," Barkley says, "when you have these fires in your life as i call them you need to talk to somebody else who is famous who have been through things in their life."

One bit of good news for Woods, though -- Dubai developers now say they will complete their massive project, called Tiger Woods Dubai, a 55 million square foot community that includes a gold academy, hotel and, of course, a course designed by Tiger.

Last night the first black woman publicly claimed to have had a sexual affair with Tiger Woods.
The woman, using her middle name Denise, called into radio station 99.1 FM KGGI in the Inland Empire, San Bernardino, CA area around 5:15 pm and claimed she had met Tiger in Hawaii while on vacation and had sex with him two times.
Denise said the first time she had sex with Tiger, he was not married, but the second time he was and expressed to her that he was not happy with wife Elin and that she had a bad temper.
Denise did not want to use her real name or speak to news publications because she claimed she did not want to dishonor her family; however, she wanted the radio listeners to known that Tiger did not just pursue white women.
Also she wanted people to know Tiger did not just seek out waitresses and escorts, and she is currently a Cal State San Bernardino student graduating in the spring with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
The caller then clarified she was of black and Puerto Rican heritage, but identified as black.
She stressed that Tiger is a good person and is kind.
Today Star Magazine claimed Tiger tried to have a fling with singer Jessica Simpson at the AT&T National Pro-Am golf tournament in July and exchanged contact information.
Jessica stated today that she did not have an affair with him and only met briefly.
Also, Tiger’s first girlfriend Dina Parr explained recently to E! News that Tiger may be imitating his father who cheated on his wife when they were in school together.
The number of women, including prostitutes, he allegedly had sex with is over a dozen now including the radio caller Denise.
Now it is the men’s turn.
The golfer is not only racking up the number of sexual allegations, but is also being dropped left and right by his sponsors, such as Gatorade and Accenture.
Not one commercial featuring Tiger has aired since the extra-marital affair claims went public.
His popularity is crashing and burning as well according to various polls.
