Embattled Tiger Woods faced astonishing new claims last night that he took prescription drugs to boost his sex life with one of his alleged mistresses.
Rachel Uchitel, 34, told friends she and Woods took the sleeping pill Ambien before having sex, according to a media report in the US.

Ambien, a prescription medication used to help people with chronic insomnia. But it is also said to dramatically enhance sexual experience immediately after being ingested.
Ms Uchitel, a New York nightclub promoter, was not available last night to comment on the latest twist in the scandal that has transformed Woods' image in the space of a week from a squeaky-clean sports hero to a disgraced love cheat.

It emerged earlier this week that the golfer was snoring when neighbours found him passed out by his crashed car following his 2.25am car crash outside his Florida mansion a little over a week ago.

His mother, Kultida, and mother-in-law, Barbro Holmberg, were also staying at the house when Woods and his Swedish wife, Elin Nordegren, allegedly had a heated bust-up over his infidelities.
They were reportedly arguing over incriminating racy text messages sent to the golfer and Woods wife ended up smashing the windows of his car with one of his clubs.
Three women have so far been identified as allegedly having affairs with the 33-year-old golf star.
RadarOnline website claimed Ms Uchitel told several friends that she took Ambien with Woods.
She abruptly cancelled a planned press conference in Los Angeles on Thursday after reportedly being contacted by Woods and his representatives who appealed to her not to further fuel the snowballing scandal. She was said to have been offered $1 million to remain tight-lipped about their alleged affair.
It was not the first time Woods’ name has come up in connection with Ambien.
Celebrity magazine US Weekly claimed Woods sent an email to Ms Uchitel in which he supposedly said he dreamed he came home to find her having sex with Hollywood actor David Boreanaz and baseball star Derek Jeter, two celebrities previously linked to the ‘party girl’ brunette.
‘I had a dream we were married and I was leading the tournament,’ Woods allegedly wrote.
‘I came home, excited to see you, and there you were in the bedroom getting ****** by Derek and David. Some part of me thinks you would like that. But now I can’t get back to sleep. My body is tired. Need an Ambien.’
Although she has publicly denied an affair, a source told the New York Post that Ms Uchitel claimed to have met Woods during a party at New York Yankees baseball player Derek Jeter’s flat.
‘This girl has a real history of sleeping with rich, powerful and famous people. Rachel has been talking about sleeping with Tiger to a lot of people. Rachel is going to end up going on Oprah, telling her story – and doing Playboy,’ a friend told the Post.
Cocktail waitress Jaimee Grubbs, 24, who claims she had a 31-month fling with the married golfer, worked until recently at a medical marijuana ‘pharmacy’ in Los Angeles.
Marijuana is legal for medical use in California. There has been no suggestion that Woods ever used the drug. After selling the story about her relationship with Woods to US Weekly for a reported £90,000, Ms Grubbs has now hired a PR firm to hawk her tale around the American TV networks.
The extraordinary unravelling of the three times British Open champion's closely guarded private life continued last night with a claim that Woods once promised Ms Grubbs that he would leave his wife for her.
But now he is said to be discussing a ‘renup’ of their pre-nuptial agreement as part of his attempts to save his five-year marriage to former model Ms Nordegren, the mother of their two young children.
Woods, who remained behind the walls of his waterfront home for a seventh successive day yesterday, is said to have offered his 29-year- old wife sports contract-like incentives to stand by her man.
According to one report, she was offered about (pounds) 3 million to stay married, with a £50 million ‘bonus’ if she stays with him for another seven years.
The third woman named as an alleged mistress, 27-year-old Las Vegas club executive Kalika Moquin once bragged that Woods was great in bed, said Life & Style magazine. Ms Moquin refused to comment last night.
Apart from posting an apology for his ‘transgressions’ on his website, Woods hasn’t responded to any of the allegations.
Yesterday, golfer Jesper Parnevik, who introduced Woods to his wife, took a second jab at his former friend in as many days.
‘I have lost all respect for him, primarily as a man and a father. It doesn’t even feel like it matters what he has done on the golf course. My respect for him as a person is gone,’ he said.
