I cant get over manny. . .he can crush it over the coke bottles. he continuously gets rediculous RBI and BA counts. he'll take a paycut to keep pedro who constantly teases his intelligence. He nearly single handedly beats the A's in last years playoffs. he works out on a near empty stomache. he just loves the game. hes the highest paid in 04, he plays like it too. he hustles his ass off to make grabs on D. he just wants to win. man, manny is great. I just love this guy. finnaly an athlete you can like for his stats and his persona. I just love manny's play man. you always see him cracking smiles in the dugout. hes about knocking runs home to win, and keeping the morale up.

First off...MC, Molitor and Puckett??

Both longtime RH .300+ hitters and of course the three grand in overall knocks, but they didn't hit too many that scaled mountains on their way out of the yard.....

Meanwhile,

HONDO HOWARD

Wilheim, I know you're with me on this one.

If Big Frank could have stayed with the Dodgers or ever had any legit offensive players (well ok MIKE EPSTEIN...lmao) batting either side of him, he would either have crushed 500+ HRS or walked 150+ per year.

All others cited worthy of honor, but we're talking The Capitol Punisher.

I also like the way he interacts with the fans, like after last nights HR, he was giving handshakes to the entire front row of the stands.

You are 100% correct in your statements.........Manny is quite frankly becoming one of my favorite players of all-time.

I'm a Cardinals fan, so maybe I'm biased. But I don't think Manny Ramirez is in the same league with Pujols. I mean, the guy has never been in a slump! He hits for average and power, drives in runs, and has done nothing but go 1 for 3 everyday since he was brought up.

I've got several friends that are even Cubs fans that say that Pujols may eventually go down as the greatest hitter of all time. Long way to go, but he's only 24.

Illini-- Agree, Pujols may EVENTUALLY be better than Manny IF he can continue on like he has his first few years in the league.

I think to be fair to MANNY however, he needs a few more years under his belt............in the same matter to be fair to MAYS, MANNY needs a few more years under his belt to be compared to him.
