So the braves over 8.5 opened at +100 now it's +118 on matchbook. The under opened at-120 and is still at -120. Does this mean anything?

If you re-read Post number #121 the swing must be 4 points or greater from opening line to the line posted when it jumps to a $.10 line.

If I am reading what he said right Boston/Texas is a no play using 5DIMES.

using my line reading program - Texas is currently the play, but that could change i wait til close to game time

Careful, I think one of those is wrong.

Cardinals aren't wrong. For 5Dimes movement it's more important that they're NOT moving the line in the other teams favor (i.e. a 0 line movement like the Cardinals game or a negative line movement) than the distance they're moving it towards the other team.
