alright. so you take the line that the .05cent starts, and then the line that the .10cent morning line starts and compare? do you disregard all numbers in between? and what should i look for after the morning .10cent open.

sorry had to re-quote myself. trying to understand this last concept. is there something to look for after the morning .10cent line? or does the analysis end there.

yea, because I cut the wrong line, here it is:

06/06 11:16PM: -112 / +107
06/07 08:30AM: -109 / -101

8 cent move qualifies them.

You're right.

BTW people if I'm not posting from 1:00pm-2:40pm EST it's because I'm doing my own wagers and watching the closing number.

showing it that way more fits the reds into rule 4.... keep an eye on that one if the reds start going into - juice they would definitely be a play according to rule 4 as it never goes back to the +107.. follow that one... if it start to hit - juice it would qualify even nicer!

The rays qualify under rule 3, the yankees qualify under rule 1.... i tend to like rule 3 better, but who knows

Angels/Detroit

06/06 11:21PM: +108 / -113
06/07 09:24AM: +103 / -113

only thing i see here is *maybe* a rule #3 fit, but its only a 5 cent adjustment, not sure if 5 cents is enough. He said dont bother with 2-4 cents.

but they do fit rule #1 right now, matchbook is at -122 and no one else is that high on the favorite, so maybe rule 3, and definately rule 1 at this point.

No.

TOR, CIN, TAM are right. The rest are wrong.

SFO went from -138 to -138. No movement

These 3 had 4 point movement, which is significant, but the line is still moving towards the other team.

MIL went from +126 to +122
STL went from +125 to +121
PHI went from +123 to +119

Look at SDG, NYM, CLE, OAK, FLA in addition to the one's you had right and understand why they qualify as well.

for this you had st. louis in there...they were never the favorite, colorado was.

did i miss something? and in the milwaukee game...does mil not consider to be a play because AFTER the .10cent morning change, there was significant movement towards atlanta?

and:

this is a timestamp from the philadelphia line changes...which are a .04cent move, why would they not be considered a play? i don't see the line moving back towards the dodgers, please correct me where i'm wrong

Yankees/Tampa

06/07 01:13AM: +135 / -140
06/07 07:44AM: +128 / -138

Tampa fits rule 3, as tampa showed a 7 cent adjustment compared to the yankees only 1 cent.

I think the Yankees will be a play. WagerStreet currently has them at -135 while Matchbook is -143, that's a fairly large difference. WagerStreet doesn't move lines much.
