KC is 1 cent from being a play under rule #1- go look at matchbook vs jamaica (+155 vs +155)

im talking about rule #3..... it cleary favors the bluejays when it goes from nickel to dime....

<table cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr class="alternate"><td>

<table cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td>06/06</td><td>08:12 AM</td><td style="text-align: center;">+162</td><td style="text-align: center;">-172</td></tr></tbody></table>dime

why is that not a bluejays play according to rule #3??

Jimmy -

In rule #1, the only qualifier is "your" book having a better line. That doesn't mean when this is not true that the play is necessarily on the other side.

Unless I'm missing something...

SF opened at + 120 and moved to +131
Fla opened at -135 and is currently -133

This movement suggest to me that Matchbok is wanting more SF money and the play would be Fla....

Also the difference between Matchbook and Bodog is .02 on favorite but .07 on dog....now they do have the best line on both sides so maybe that is why not a lean....but is mt reasoning correct or relevant that the money seems to be going higher on dog so fav is the lean?

no it does not, go look at the lines again, it favors KC more than bluejays (rule 3)

Your right funnyb. The line moved .12 towards the Jays. So under rule number 3 Tor was the play. Hoosiers even posted showing the .12 move at 5 dimes. And at right before close matchbook was +155 along with betjamaica on KC so I would not consider KC a play.

With Tor good against right handers, great at home, and great during the day to go along with the big .12 overnight move I would consider them the play. Just hate playing games with that much juice. If I'm wrong than maybe hoosiers will come back and straighten it out.

Another example for my education...NYM -126 Wash +116 open..now NYM -110 Wash +109 so lean would be to Washington.

ya, we are right... bluejays were the play according to rule #3... no idea what 1968 guy is talking about.... it is stated clearly in rule 3 to look when it changes from a nickel to dime line.... and in this case bluejays were the play.... 1968 guy is on somethin else

By my interpretation royals were the play based on line movement

you must be referring to right before game time... in ruloe 3 it says nothing about right before gametime... it only states when it changes from nickel to dime.... read rule 3 and look at the nickel to dime change... it also states in rule #3 you base it off the opening line... which also favors the bluejays... i understand it moved back towards the royals, but that is not stated in rule #3

Rule # 3

Royals @ Bluejays

FROM 5dimes... like the rule indicates...

<table width="220" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0" height="22"><tbody><tr class="alternate"><td>06/06</td><td>12:33 AM</td><td style="text-align: center;">+155</td><td style="text-align: center;">-160
</td></tr></tbody></table>
<table cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td>06/06</td><td>08:12 AM</td><td style="text-align: center;">+162</td><td style="text-align: center;">-172</td></tr></tbody></table>
The first posted time is the nickel line... the second posted time is when it switches to a dime line.... now read rule #3 and tell me i am just not getting it

RULE #3 - Watch 5Dimes

All books use .10 lines, except for Matchbook which is an exchange. However, in an exchange, you simply can't put down whatever bet you want. It has to be matched to be accepted.

There is one book (excluding Pinnacle's .08 lines) that feature lines less than .10 where your bet is instantly accepted. That's 5dimes, and that's only overnight.

If you're a professional bettor looking for the cheapest lines where you can put a large amount on one side and allow it to be accepted, you would go to 5Dimes, and you would bet overnight.

5Dimes changes overnight lines back to .10 around 9:00am EST. They frequently move the line in favor of one team as money has come in on this team overnight. Bet on that team.

Here's the PHI-SDG game (this would indicate a PHI bet)
06/03 12:20AM: +106 / -111
06/03 07:56AM: +100 / -110

Here's the CLE-MIN game (this would indicate a CLE bet)
06/02 11:53PM: -107 / +102
06/03 08:47AM: -114 / +104

Make sure the line move is significant. When the line moves 3 points in one team's favor, and 2 points in the other team's favor is not significant.

Exactly as you copy and pasted royals fit it to a T

NO they dont.... Bluejays fit it to a "T" you're looking it it backwards... means all the money is coming in on the bluejays.... going more and more as the favorite.... while the royals are going more and more as dogs.... ur the one not getting it
