No respect? To me that's just more fodder for game day to settle up then. I relish the opportunities that come my way. You will have your share of it too because of your HC's personality against the backdrop of all that intra-conference animosity.

Eh. As far as the way I've come to handle it, I know what they don't know and that makes me very happy. Just look at all the ways I am right and everyone else is wrong. Knowing as little of substance as you do about the Pac-10, you are a perfect example.

But my issue aside, you will have the same thing going on in your corner soon enough if you haven't noticed it already and it will become a regular thing, especially if Kiffin turns out to be successful -- at least as successful as the Pac-10 has been when they play the SEC. Perhaps he brought that quality with him over from the Pac-10. Lucky you.

Let 'em whine all they want. Let 'em boast and brag and pay the man with all that ignorant thinking. My way of doing it doesn't cost me a dime. As a matter of fact, it's profitable. While they bask in the glory of their wet dreams, I'll be transfering funds into my bank account and making plans for what to do with my winnings. And I do win, quite a bit because I like to think of it as a game of knowledge and skill, not gambling at all.

I just hope that there are at least a few who can keep it all in perspective and remember that it's a game. As far as the rest of the homies are concerned, they live very tiny existences and aren't worth the time or the effort to bother relating to. In other words, tata... no love lost. Have a happy pigskin life and may they bury you with an authentic Peyton Manning autographed football when you're dead.

And no, your iffing doesn't hurt me at all. No matter how right you may think you are, your premise is fictional and has no place in reality. But if thinking that Kelly would have bolted for Tennessee gives you a warm fuzzy feeling, I bet you also have a stack of Playboys under the bathroom sink to fuzz out with too. One good fuzz deserves another.

Personally I prefer my games to be played out on the field and my women nice and wet. Aside from that, nothing really interests me enough to bother. I guess that can only come with a track record of success and personal accomplishment. I want nothing of anyone elses. I'm not interested because I can and do take care of my own.

Now I'm not saying don't enjoy a good banter once in a while and I also like flipping through my playboys too. I just don't want to make a habit of it and I don't wish to create a need for it either. In other words, Mr. dealer, I don't require any cards, my hand is pat.

One last thing. If you want to talk about Oregon's coaches anymore, maybe you can at least try to get the name right so people will think MAYBE you know what you are talking about instead of sounding like a 1/2-wit. Just some advice to help your image out in a way that is sorely needed for credibility sake -- if you would allow me to offer that. The name is Chip Kelly, not Skip Kelly.

So as far as Kelly's background is concerned, a HC's success has more to do with where a man is capable of going than where he has been. Those issues are about a man's personality and character (and of course his expertise) and the ability of the guy that hired him to judge a man correctly. Bellotti's history of choosing great AC's speaks volumes.

When the season ended last year, several schools came sniffing around interested in hiring Kelly as their next HC. But after seeing the man in action for 2 years as Oregon's OC, Bellotti and Oregon's AD Killkenny decided it was time to guarantee him the HC job as soon as Bellotti was ready to step down. They went out of their way to lock him up. There's a good reason why they went and did that. After 2 years running thier offense, they realized that he was their guy.

I'd take Kelly in a lick over Kiffin because Kelly is an expert X's and O's man, he commands an air of respect about him, he connects well with young players and he's a proven producer and one of the most brilliant offensive minds in CFB... and he's tough. He's proven himself to be all that doing his job. That's bankable.

So far Kiffin has been nothing more than a flash in the pan.... so far. But one thing I definitely give the man credit for is how he's shown that he can be an excellent motivator and that's exactly what the Vols needed most... and the SEC is about as infested with sharks and other types predators as it gets. He's given every indication that he's up to it. As far as the rest goes...... (to be continued) and so far the signs are good.

I'm out.

Um, the SEC has an overall winning record vs PAC-10.

Also, the SEC has won more outright National titles in the last 3 years than the Pac-10 has since 1970... wow!

me thinks you keep finding excuses to avoid answering questions and accepting the truth. you will harp on this for a bit then somethign else

again i ask - is there any BCS head coach with less major college experience than Skip Kelly.

oooh - you wont go search and find that answer, you will just ignore it and worry about a mathematicians opinion on %'s

come on man, go look at this thread - you have offered no discussion , no insight - just constantly trying to argue.

you even promised not to post again in it twice but you cant help it

isnt there a disney football movie being filmed at oregon you should be at? is the rock gonna star in it wearing a neon uniform?

this isnt the NYP, i dont get paid to post here and i sure as hell dont stop to re-read and worry about saying something wrong.

like i said you dont offer anything but nitpicking like a little girl. its immature and childish and shows that you have no confidence to offer any opinion of substance.

you are a spectator, just like your beloved ducks.

Hey, there's an easy button!

I C&P'd the above (with a couple of edits) and still told it like it is but just slightly different.... as if re-twisting a twist is of any consequence to anyone. But just for the sake argument in the very same BS context as above... and to prove how easy it is to make it look as I choose instead of how homer chose to say it.....

Um, the Pac-10 has a winning record vs the SEC this decade.

Also, the Pac-10 has won more outright National titles than the SEC... wow!

That is just as accurate as the first quote homer made but far more impressive.

Well, Lane Kiffin has officially shown his ass. What a dumbass he is. This guy sucks and will not succeed. He needs to come and take lessons from Mack Brown. He'll show him what class is and how to have it.
