Disn’t expect to be close but also never expected…

Calipari not to substitute in 2nd Half!

He did in the 1st half and broke the momentum UK had which allowed Florida back in game with a 22-6 run to end the half. Over again in 1st and game….

Play/watch if you can…..

Davis averages 31 points in each of his next four games – two of which would be in the conference tournament – he will tie Maravich's record. Detroit Mercy is in sixth place in the Horizon League standings, meaning that it would face the No. 11 seed in the first round of the Horizon League conference tournament if the season ended Monday.

Accomplishing that might not be too difficult for Davis, given that he has scored at least 30 points in each of his past six games. But of course, if the Titans lose their opening matchup of the conference tournament, the math will be heavily skewed against him breaking the record.

Detroit Mercy's next game is on Thursday against Northern Kentucky (8 p.m., ESPN+). Maravich died from an undetected heart defect in 1988.

1pm

Detroit/Wright St

Evans needs 128

There are two things standing in Kentucky’s way of a deep run in March, depth and defense. They may not be able to fix both problems, but the archaic offense might just be good enough to keep Kentucky alive deep into the NCAA Tournament.

ESPN 4pm UK -3/140 1/2 opened now at Oddshark -4/143 1/2

The Tigers are 4-6 in true road games this season.

Wildcats are ready! Could see a Pitino/Calipari match-up. Just win Baby… Last season the loss to the Tigers turned their season this year it turns other way.

Over in 1st half and game…. at Rupp! Sunday the Ashbury Revival moves into Rupp

The Kentucky Wildcats inch closer to locking up a double-bye for the SEC Tournament.

Over 1st half streak continued, Over total for season 18-11

Next up......

Vanderbilt comes into Rupp.

69-53 Wildcats win 1-24 then on 1-31 Bama beats Vandy 101-44

85-62 UK on Wednesday

Senior night.... UK lists six players on its roster as seniors — Brennan Canada, CJ Fredrick, Antonio Reeves, Jacob Toppin, Oscar Tshiebwe and Sahvir Wheeler — although all could use the “free COVID season” granted to NCAA athletes who were enrolled in colleges in 2020-21 and return to play college basketball in 2023-24.

Tonight at 10 Gozaga 74-68

Looking at NC/FL St 1st half total 73.5? Think NC needs win to maybe get in Dance and with FL. St. beating Miami Saturday 86-85 this tells me NC Needs to stay out of a run/gun game.... Under in 1st half tonight.

Looking forward to final home game at Rupp Wednesday....

If the Cats keep up their level of play, they could potentially play themselves into a 5- or 6-seed in the Big Dance, something that would have been considered a pipe dream just a month ago.

Detroit 5 1/2 point favorite tomorrow total for game 154

Won 1st time 85-52 and 2nd 75-66 at FWP

139 average 10-6 over in 2023 odds are over 154 thinking FWP has packed it in? Iffy tonight to score 124 but Davis might outscore FWP

Sister Jean names SEC team as current pick to win 2023 NCAA Tournament

Sister Jean became one of college basketball’s most famous fans during Loyola Chicago’s memorable 2018 NCAA Tournament run. Sister Jean, born Jean Dolores Schmidt, is now 103 years old – and still closely following college hoops.

During an interview with “Good Morning America” to discuss her new memoir “Wake Up with Purpose” and other topics, Sister Jean was asked for her thoughts on who will win the upcoming NCAA Tournament.

“Right now, it looks to me as though Kentucky will,” she told the show.

Tonight Skoda say s UK will on Wednesday and stop back with Prediction Tuesday.....

opened -9/147 Halftime number will probably be 65 1/2

One of the biggest reasons for Vanderbilt’s hot stretch of late is their 3-point shooting. Over their last seven games, the Commodores have made 10 or more 3s in five games.

Over in 1st and looking at game 82-70

Right now, Vandy is playing as well as anybody in our league,” John Calipari said Monday night. “You know they’re gonna shoot 25 to 30 three-point shots, and if they make 11 or 12, 13, it’s gonna be a hard game for us to win.”

Just Win Baby Just Win... Match their 3's is my game plan....

Tonight Nova looks like the winner gotta lean with nickname Wildcats! Parlay with-over at 1/2 and game… No parlays are like exacta’s play ‘Em all Straigh…

Tshiebwe says…..

My dream was to win a national championship. Right now, I’ve got so much confidence. Because my boys (are) taking rebounds from my hands. I’ve got Chris (Livingston) and Jacob taking rebounds from my hands. Everybody is making shots. We stay locked in, and we communicate. And I can see this team go far. Some teams (are) probably gonna be scared, because we’re going to be a high seed. We’re going to play some good teams. For me, I say, ‘Be ready.’ … We’re here. We’re going to keep fighting.

I think he meant…. High Speed….. 82-68

. I already played UK minus/game total over and halftime over before news from CALIPARI… (y)

1st time they played final was... 69-53 UK

If UK controls pace yes I see wildcats moving fast and not stopping. Unless COACH of Vandy has different strategy this one should be a shootout at Rupp. Vandy is 0-10 here!

Maybe 1st half over Maybe not? Cal is starting lineup is all Seniors including Canada who has seen limited action. I don't think the back-up line up will play more then 5 minutes. Can see team trying to get Canada some points. Rolling the dice on this one

Right now, Vandy is playing as well as anybody in our league,” John Calipari said Monday night. “You know they’re gonna shoot 25 to 30 three-point shots, and if they make 11 or 12, 13, it’s gonna be a hard game for us to win.”

Rumor has it... Wheeler quit team? Definitely will not be on court tonight. Coincidentally since he has not played....Wish him the Best

Will UK have Wallace back from injury for Saturday? Oscar Tshiebwe seems to think so.

“Yes, I went and checked on him a little bit. I went and checked on him with the trainer,” the star center told reporters. “He should be good, he should be good. I am not supposed to give too much information out there [laughs]. … That makes me feel good (Wallace’s X-rays came back negative). I know he’s good, I know he’s good. He’ll be ready.”

Oddshark arkansas -4 1/2/143 1/2

Wildcats associate to the head coach Bruiser Flint met with reporters early Friday afternoon. He didn’t rule Wallace out for the game against the Razorbacks, but he didn’t let on that he might play either.

“We haven’t done a lot of basketball activities (since Wednesday night),” Flint said. “Usually after a night game, the next day we don’t do much on the floor. So he’s just been getting treatment. And we’ll see how it goes. We’re already in Arkansas, so we’re going to practice this afternoon. So we’ll see how he is.”

Wednesday, Kyle Tucker of The Athletic reported that there is a very good chance Wallace will be playing in Nashville this weekend. On top of Wallace, Tucker also added that there is a chance we also see Wheeler make his return to the court in Nashville as well.

Who’s really dangerous: On its game, Kentucky can beat any team in the league. Not on its game, Kentucky is capable of losing to any team in the league. Bridgestone Arena will be filled with blue this weekend. Home away from Home game for Vandy....

Barring any new setbacks, two key rotation pieces in the backcourt planning to take the floor inside Bridgestone Arena, both practicing Thursday morning and doing shoot around!

Starting out fast and setting pace decides who plays Saturday. 80 points wins game...
