Agreeing with the writer.......
If Central Michigan has anything going for itself, it's that it plays fast and hoists 3s.
The Chips' are 53rd in 3-point rate and have the 54th shortest average possession length on offense. If the team is able to shoot just decent from beyond the arc, they can stay within 30 in this one.
After opening as 28-point favorites, the market has moved towards Kentucky, who has the 13th best offense by KenPom's standards with the second best offensive rebounding rate in the country.
While the spread is large, I actually show a bit of value on the over considering the Wildcats will grab a lions share of the rebounds and get some easy buckets, while we should see a ton of possessions with Central Michigan's fast tempo. For what it's worth, Kentucky also has been playing fast as well, averaging the 77th fastest offensive possessions this season.
There's a chance Kentucky can flirt with triple digits in this one while Central Michigan can hit the requisite amount of 3s to help send this one over.
