The Kentucky men's basketball program has canceled Saturday's game vs. Texas, due to a combination of positive testing, contact tracing, and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the program. The program has also been put on a 48-hour pause.

The SEC announced just after 4 p.m. Kentucky's game at No. 17 Missouri originally scheduled for Tuesday at 9 p.m. had been postponed to Wednesday at 7 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN2. A UK spokesman later confirmed the team had been cleared to resume practicing

Texas A&M on Tuesday has been postponed due to COVID-19 related issues within the Texas A&M program.
A makeup date has not been determined at this time.


Texas A&M has had numerous struggles with COVID 19 protocols lately. The Aggies have not played a game since January 30.

Kentucky's next game will be Saturday, February 27 against Florida at Rupp Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m.
