first off, saw Taylor in an interview right after, and she refused to throw Kanye under the bus...said she was there to have fun, and didnt want to get into it....admitted she was a fan of his before this.....so she handled it very well for such a young girl..
and secondly, what a CLASSY MOVE by the always classy Beyonce, to invite Taylor up on stage during her win, so that she could have her moment she was cheated out of earlier.....shows the kind of woman Beyonce is, and why America is in love with her.....she is not only unbelievably talented, and gorgeous, but very classy as well........great job by both ladies to difuse the situation

I'll throw my .02 worth because I'm a country music fan. Kanye just picked the wrong person to do this to. Here's a 19 year-old-girl that is known all over the world because she is perceived to be very naive and innocent. She was nominated for country music's top honor (entertainer of the year) and was the first female to receive that nomination since 2002.

Miss Swift seems like a sweet young lady. Kanye should have picked his spot better and snatched the mike from Lady GaGa. I do think the whole thing is being blown up too much though. Kanye is getting worse press than Chris Brown got. Kanye did a dick move but it's not like he put down Taylor's talent. Had he told Taylor "In my opinon your shit sucks and you are just a packaged artist and blah, blah, blah. Then yeah crucify his ass. He was just a little stoned and smashed and exagerrated that Beyonce had the best video of all times.
I think Kanye is just like the majority of us music listeners and feel that music in all categories has been on the decline this decade. We have American Idolers, High School Musicals, countless talent shows, disney artists and actresses and socialites turned singers (Paris Hilton and Scarlet Johannson). He probably just lumped Taylor in the group with the rest of those faux astists/musicians.
I remember at the Grammy's last year both Kanye and Miley were dissed by Radiohead when they wanted to meet the band but it received zero publicity.

Also Oasis is the british equivilant to Kanye West as far as egos go and upstaging people but they don't get as much bad press. People just say it is just the Gallagher brothers being themselves. I thought it was funny as shit when Oasis told the public after listening to System Of The Down they were glad that they can officially say that they listened to the worse band of all times.
When Suge Knight dissed Puff Daddy on stage about him dancing all up in peoples videos and shit it was just small talk.
Kanye wasn't racially motivated to do what he did but because he snatched the mic from a young white woman the public will fuel it that way on the message boards and tweet boards and blogs. Justin Timberlake could have gotten drunk and did the same shit to Taylor that Kanye did and people would have laughed their ass off. Didn't somebody from Pearl Jam or something climb the rafters during someones acceptance speech a few years back?
I agree with you anything a white person does to a black person they will be accused of being racist and vice versa. It is just the American way. It always has been and always will be that way cause of our country's history.
