Obviously I'm a big Juwan fan from my previous comments.. He grew up a lot last night as a HC! Once he looks back and realizes they played a little too slow in the second half and that played right into UCLA's hand. End of the day, players missed what like 8 shots down the stretch..That means you are going to lose.

I’m not a huge college BB guy but based on the sports I am knowledgeable about it is extremely common for ex head coaches to be assistants .
Saints have 2 ex head coaches on its staff .
Does this mean Payton is a bad coach .
Belichick has at least one ex head coach on his staff .
Does this mean he sucks .
Baseball is full of 1st base and 3rd base coaches who use to be managers .
College football has tons of assist coaches that use to be head coaches .
The NBA has tons of assistant coaches that use to be NBA head coaches .
So I’m quite confident there are more then a few ex head coaches in college basketball that are assistants .

They had a better coach in Belien before the new search began. I'm not on the search committee or know who was available at that time so not sure how much better they could've done. This particular climate , Howard might have been the only choice.. Give me some Rooney rule please.... But if Martelli stays on , not the worst situation..
