Guerrero's an exceptionally talented kid. If he has a good chin he will be going places. He has really good speed, good power and nice skills. Being a southpaw helps as well. he's very tall for a guy who fights at 126 also. I really like Guerrero but the same as most prospects, I want to see what happens when he gets hit hard on his jaw. A bad chin can ruin a fighter.

First post of many to come on the fight game. I like Moorer +300 at no particular book. I am not 'shilling' for anyone. I saw the weigh in on TV. Moorer appears to have a Balco connection.

What a cast of players in this place. I know many from other forums, but have to jump in the boxing mix here and want to remain an annonymous poster.

My reasoning. First post, first winner. Everyone can't be right or people wouldn't have jobs or money.:103631605

A few good points mentioned in this thread between the squabling. Moorer's weight appears to be a negative, but he didnt look to flabby at the weigh in. Very big lats. Odd as it seems, it may really is his last chance. Next step is ESPN then Baltimore Maxboxing fights. Southpaw stance, and did I mention I respect the opening number more than the closing/shaded number? Since the summer, the openers have been a bit more solid in the name bouts. I think because more people know the players names and follow them more closely. I don't think this forum, Major Wager and Mad Jacks pushed this line up.

For the future, some thoughts, from an insider/outsider looking in. Dont criucify me.

Almy....gets to the point, but perhaps posts too soon if he bets as big as he says, not questioning it, you have proved it in my opinion and if you buy into the conspiracy theory maybe you should hide out and beard your bets in. I always felt if tyou have an opinion, unless its an agenda, why make everyone money. No one cares in the long run.

Spinc..........is very sharp. Worth reading. Gets excellent discussions going that keep the boards alive.

Gil................I don't see much more than yes man and touting, but thats your thing. Dont make an enemy out of me. I think you may have an account where I work. Lets remain civil.

Odessa...........appears to have a temper and take the game serious. I have followed him and think he would not be the man if he were unethical. To lose him would be like throwing out the computer, before they had computers.

Frank...........seems like a good type old timer that just calls it like he see's it. I like his style, win or lose.

Valdosta...........gets little respect here, but has Odessas respect which is enough for me to take a look. I am now a member at BoxFan, so I see you are the real deal.

TMontana..........may be the best foreign bout poster. Those bouts are very tough and often crooked.

I work in a sports office, so I read here and the other spots and read between the lines. I also post under a different name at an unmentioned forum, but not here. I agree with Odessa in that my work details along with anyone elses bet sizes, locations, etc should be confidential. I hope you gentlemen respect that. This is something many people dont understand. Its a small world and private details are no ones business.

I also have a theory. Sorry O. I think he often does not post a line 1st on purpose. Reason being is he may want to bet somenone elses opener. Thats fair in my opinion and just a hunch. His rep was gained betting initially, so why put handcuffs on him now. As a person working in an office, I like to know what side of a game or fight he is really on. He would not have been too smart to open Krasniqi 11.5 o -125 when there were 7.5's out there at the time. I think he had a strong opinion on that and most likely bet it heavily.

These are my thoughts. I anxiously await my welcome aboard. I cannot post from the office I work, they restrict that for reasons and problems that are all too apparent in this thread.

Chow.
If i had read it in time i may have wagered it but though i stayed away. I was looking at Jirov via dec.
Anyway good to have some new blood.
Welcome and goodluck with your bets.

Glad I stayed away from that. I was actually about to take Jirov, until I saw the weigh in. Moorer was in much better shape than i expected, and it scared me off. He is still flabby, but it takes a while to lose the spare tire. He still has a punch, and thats really all it takes i the heavyweight division, as we just saw yet again. He is a nice guy and would like to see him do well, but I still dont see him makes much noise in the division. He was getting outworked, and out classed for much of the fight. Still rather watch him than most of the heavyweights out there today.

Also, I think Chris Byrd is a great talent in the ring, but he is such a dick, as he showed on the BDSSP this week. He is so cocky, talking about punching power, putting down other fighters, prob to make himself feel good. I hope Toney knocks his block off.

Also to comment on the announcing team, as Almly stated, I think both of those guys are awful. Id like to see them bring in Max Kellerman next time, as he adds good insight and excitment. Sean Ogrady talks about his career every round. Tompkins is a front runner.

All in all I love what fox is doing with the BDSSP and boxing, and I hope in continues. Its very entertaining

kellerman may not be around for awhile....i`m sure everyone`s aware that james"the harlem hammer" butler murdered max`s brother recently...

i think kellerman`s brother was actually letting butler stay at his house.....what a mistake....that guy was obviously totally unstable...

a tragedy...

i always liked kellerman...didn`t always agree....especially when he was touting zab judah as the best pfp guy...

one guy that i can`t take is al bernstein..

Guerrero

sphincter,

minus 450 might not be too bad if you consider Goosen can't afford to get any of his fighters beat especially at that level.
