No way dude. Bad ass movie. How could you not like Hi?

This is Wilheim's list of movies that Jake T responded too. Couldn't believe he had never seen Blazing Saddles or The Jerk. I thought everyone had see the Jerk.

Haven't seen either but maybe its a generational thing? Raising Arizona just did nothing for me when i watch.

Possible. To me both movies are timeless. Get drunk and/or high and watch The Jerk. One of the greatest movies ever if you enjoy stupid comedy.

This must be a list for the learning impaired. To not have "Young Frankenstein" @ or near the
top negates the whole thing. Also "A Fish Called Wanda" & "Fargo"!!:ohno:

Fargo had some dark humor, no doubt - but I wouldn't classify it as comedy.

Strictly speaking true re. Fargo. But, if you're not from MN or more specificly the TC's you probably missed some of the best lines. One of those was when the 2 hookers from "White Bear" were being questioned. Many laughs in Fargo, call it what you like!

PS. I didn't go back to the real old time comedies from the 40s, 50s or 60s. But there were a lot of very funny movies made back then with some great comedic actors.

One that comes to mind is Under The Yum Yum Tree starring the late Jack Lemmon. FYI Lemmon was a great comedic actor who could also change gears and do serious work.

Watch Some Like it Hot Starring Lemmon, Tony Curtis and Marilyn Monroe sometime then watch Lemmon and Lee Remick in The Subject Was Roses to see what I mean.

Lemmon won two Oscars in his long career - Best Actor in Save The Tiger and Best Supporting Actor in Mr. Roberts (one of my favorite films). He was nominated for six more.

How could you leave out "A Fish Called Wanda"? Thought yu were mre discerning!

This one is old, but it is my favorite. HBO reruns it every so often: It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. Jonathan Winters makes me cry laughing. An truly all-star cast. Watch it if you get a chance.
