Looking forward to Jake T's, Ten Best Workout Supplements.

Haha I could probably put one together but I doubt anyone would argue with me too much on that stuff. I like the top tens to be debatable. Any suggestions for future lists?

wil.

PS. I didn't go back to the real old time comedies from the 40s, 50s or 60s. But there were a lot of very funny movies made back then with some great comedic actors.

One that comes to mind is Under The Yum Yum Tree starring the late Jack Lemmon. FYI Lemmon was a great comedic actor who could also change gears and do serious work.

Watch Some Like it Hot Starring Lemmon, Tony Curtis and Marilyn Monroe sometime then watch Lemmon and Lee Remick in The Subject Was Roses to see what I mean.

Lemmon won two Oscars in his long career - Best Actor in Save The Tiger and Best Supporting Actor in Mr. Roberts (one of my favorite films). He was nominated for six more.

My Cousin Vinny (Good movie, I still hate that accent though)
Grumpy Old Men (Solid)
Stripes (Never watched)
Home Alone (Too kiddy for me)
Analyze This (Haven't watched)

History of the world (Never watched)
Ferris Bueller's day off (Great movie, barely missed)
Major league (I love it as much as anyone but not up to par with the rest)
The Waterboy (Funny parts but Adam Sandlers movies don't do it for me)
High Fidelity (Solid, underrated one)
Ghost Busters (Good but I didn't think great)

Just some info on why I didn't include some of those flicks Wil.

Also, it's really hard for me to watch older comedy movies and enjoy them. Just a different era... I'm too used to laughing at vulgar humor I think.

Wouldnt be in my top 10, but Loaded Weapon with Emilio Estavez and Samual L. Jackson, cracks me up.

Jack Colt: Who are you?
Mr. Jigsaw: I'm your worst nightmare.
Jack Colt: No, waking up without my penis is my worst nightmare.
Mr. Jigsaw: Okay, allright, so I'm not actually your worst nightmare. But I am right up there.

Stopped reading after Raising Arizona was on list.

(writing in notepad) NEVER listen to movie advice from Jake T

Can anyone who has seen this list tell me if Dumb and Dumber, Happy Gilmore, Tropic Thunder, There's Something About Mary, Wedding Crashers, The Big Lebowski, My Cousin Vinny or The 40 Year Old Virgin made the list?

My god man...Leaving Caddyshack off the list is like leaving Michael Jordan off the list of "10 greatest basketball players ever".

Nice try. :ohno::ohno:

As much as I love Caddyshack, I don't think it's top 10. Top 20, yes. Chevy Chase and Bill Murray were funny but there were a good amount of other parts that just didn't work for me.

What a garbage list. FSM does not deserve to be anywhere near an all-time list. No Caddyshack? No Austin Powers? No Billy Madison/Tommy Boy? No national lampoon movies?

Don't quit your day job.

Those movies were all fine and dandy in their day but are rather tame if you look back at them now. All good movies that I'd recommend but nowhere near as funny as the newer titles who are able to push the bar past the fart jokes that cracked me up 10 years ago.

Pineapple Express has by far the best fight scene I have ever seen in my life.

And Step Brothers automatically goes into any top 10 of all time.

Dumb and Dumber is hands down the funniest movie of all time though

The Jerk and Caddyshack have to be on this list...

I personally like Dirty Rotten Scoundrels more than The Jerk when talking about Steve Martin stuff.

I strongly considered Pineapple Express but figured I had too many movies kinda like it already. Grandma's Boy is another excellent one that barely missed the cut.

Friday is a good one that hasn't been mentioned. I think you guys are putting My Cousin Vinny higher than it should be. I liked the flick and all but it never stood out as an upper-echelon type comedy as far as I'm concerned.
