I'd doubt you would have 1 GM in this league that would take Lamar over Herbert. Outside of the Ravens , who would never admit that.
Not really the point though.

I'm saying if you have lack of evidence for Lamar, you reallllly have a lack of evidence for guys like Herbert.

You can win a Super Bowl with either of them. It's pretty silly to think otherwise lol

This is the 3rd thread with this issue. Stand by what I've said from the beginning , you can't win a SB with a running back at QB. That's what Lamar is.. sooner or later , what he does best won't be in his arsenal. A QB can't keep taking hits like he does running the ball. A good to great defense in the playoffs will frustrate Lamar..

Herbert passes the eye test. He's already a top 5 QB along with Allen , Rodgers, Mahomes , and Brady. No particular order

You know that Jimmy G has a career playoff passer rating in the 4th quarter of 28.6? Did you also know that if you spiked the football every play you'd have a passer rating of about 39?

So basically you're better off in the 4th quarter of a playoff game spiking the ball every play than letting Jimmy drop back and throw

Yet you can get to a Super Bowl with Jimmy G as history tells us....even though he has objectively been a bad playoff quarterback. I guess an NFL MVP in his prime -- who was the best QB in the NFL in Week 2 -- isn't capable of getting to a Super Bowl though

Just admit you were wrong about the guy and move on lol

I will admit I was wrong if it ever happens. Doubt that happens though. Don't hold your breath...lol

If some in here think that I'm on some island here with this crazy position , that's fine. I get it. It's just my opinion.

Fair enough

Got any thoughts on Washington or Pittsburgh this week? My 5 favorites strategy kind of worked. This feels like a dogs week

Bet into what I thought was a good advanced line with Steelers + 3 1/2.. Steelers or pass at this point.

Haha, the best QB in Week 2 was the guy that beat Lamar at home.

Don’t think so. Hill got loose on a couple broken Ravens coverages and he was able to hit him

For the first two thirds of that game Tua looked like his same old bad self

Lamar looked awesome and was better overall

If you say so, someone had the better stats and the win on the road and that wasn't Lamar Jackson.

Tua had the win, but Lamar had the better stats. Higher passer rating plus over 100 yards on the ground. Both played well though overall

Not his fault the Ravens secondary is banged up yet again

Also doesn’t this game mean absolutely nothing since it’s not a playoff game?

I thought that was the standard Lamar hater logic

Come on man. Lamar hater ? Personally I like Lamar. Wish he was on one of my teams. He actually might be if Steelers don't compete for the division. Just rather see him play at another skill position.

The reverse line movement gonna make me pass. Money was coming in on them at 3.5 yet they got pushed to 5

Don’t trust Cleveland at all though. Don’t know who to root for as a Cincy fan

He won the NFL MVP as a quarterback. He’s a great dual threat quarterback. Could argue the best deep ball in the league, or at least one of them.

Not sure why people don’t think he can he throw. He’s obviously a good thrower

People can hide behind their opinions, but there are plenty of facts out there to conclude that Lamar is a great NFL quarterback

Why do we do this over and over? We all know he's a good QB....until the playoffs.
You mean like Aaron Rogers?

Jackson will break through eventually. He got some new weapons from the draft this year. It could be this year.
