sorry for that guys...

"That's how i like to lose...or win. With a blowout. Not a 90th minute own goal off the referee & crossbar."

Actually, Atromitos scores a perfectly legit goal and gets cancelled as offside on the 30th minute... I know Olympiakos get all the calls in the greek league and I am betting on this, but having such a goal scored is hard to swallow, besides this meaning that it would have made the -2 a push, it would have also changed the course of the game...tough luck but we can't always have it going our way and about -1% dropped this weekend, the only losing weekend so far.

boys, whatever I bet I ll bet it live, stick with me I ll post whatever selections I decide for the arsenal game, and if, I got a lot of ideas for the games and a lean on juventus +the goals, but the lines are sharp as hell and I really can't see any advantage, I like the action as much as the next guy, but although I lean on the under too, I am not going to be suckered into anything before I actually start watching and get a feel for the games.

well both unders came in, but the games where anything but an under affair, watched arsenal too, and man was I impressed, hadn't actually witness such excting play in a while, juve absences of course helped a lot, but I am chastising myself for not taking arsenal...that's why I want to put together this database to remind me of things I seem to forget like the fact that their game with portsmouth was postponed this weekend and they were coming in from a long rest while juve played Roma saturday on a derby and then travelled away in three days, having a 29 years average, while arsenal stand at 25, with my experience at soccer gambling I find it unacceptable that i didn't put one and one together equals two here with the absences, but I go a bit lightly on myself because I was running all day working, and I did at least avoid another trap here with juventus +1/4 goals, I am actually wondering now whether the line was actually skewed here to divide action, as the +1/2 which seems like the correct line (without the hindsight bias) would have meant juventus getting hammered, while the +1/4 I am sure got more juventus but definately a fair share on arsenal....

Will post if I find anything of value today, leaning on villareal.

Juve stunk up the place last night - but to say that Juve +0.25 was a "trap" is ludicrous... Even more so that Juve +0.5 was the correct line.

Ιf what I said was ludicrous please explain to me why so, it would be very informative for me, and I am sure the rest of the forum, and because you have a tendency to do this, please don't interprate this the wrong way, I honestly think it COULD have been an opinion splitter and not representative of the actual odds for the game, if you think that is not the case, please enlighten me.

Guys I ve been waiting all day long yesterday to get more bookmakers hosting the panathinaikos - the points game for the euroleage to post it here, and I finally get a whole day getting caught up in work (anyone else find they don't have enough time to fit everything, jesus I wish I had a couple of more hours a day...) and although I did bet it I never managed to post it...hell...after all the euroleague losers I have posted with panathinaikos I finally get them in a do or die game at home with the fans where the handicap almost coincides with the exact difference they have to win to advance and I can't find a terminal to post it (to tell you the truth I just bet it and didn't even think about posting it here, just wasn't humanly posssible)...and i know I ll get a few snarls here with this comment (I don't care though) but had I posted everything I ve bet so far and didn't have time too we d be looking at something closer to +150% on the starting bankroll instead of the +80 or eighty something it is now.

that's a pity, but unlike your part of the world, that they don't
have internet cafes and laundromats every couple blocks...
maybe a laptop would cum in handy, if it's safe to be in public
there with something so valuable ; ...congrats on your success
on and off the board...may it continue for many seasons

Μan I am not exactly in "tolerating" mood, I made a point that I had everything on my mind with my work, BUT finding a way to post my selection, and I sincerely felt sorre for a few people here that might have missed it. Unlike yourself some people here have got jobs, families, girlfriends, plenty of obligations and plenty of life ouside the forums, and still take some time to post a few bets they feel will be beneficial to the rest. I don't really appreciate you dumbass bigoted comments about "my part of the world" and your assesment of the relative value and safety a laptop in Greece. So please be kind enough to get the fuck out of my thread and not post here again.

Nah, cool off, life is kind to us, enjoy. We mediterraneans are lucky, wouldn't trade our lifestyle for any money over there.

Safety has more to do with principles and moral than overall wealth. Anyone stole the parthenon yet ?
(and it's on top of a cliff, up for grabs!!) :missingte

Also believe x-files is a nice guy, and it was just unfortunate and/or undocumented. After all almost 70% of universitary population in USA think spain is right south of mexico (this is documented, and note it was researched only on universitary students, which is even more whooping)

It's alright.

"Safety has more to do with principles and moral than overall wealth."

Very well said, and it's an issue with us european getting americanised, in all the wrong ways of course, an losing some of that in the past few years, don't know if it's the case in spain, but people have gotten a bit more individualistic and opportunistic here lately, a bit less aware of their culture too, what with the mass consumption coca cola mc donalds thing.

"Also believe x-files is a nice guy, and it was just unfortunate and/or undocumented."

yeah I had down as ok, up until right now, possibly people, and I am not exempting myself here, tend to lose it now and then with this computerized medium and do not realise that some of their more bitter and/or wiseass comments are directed towards real people.

Υοu are kidding me, I thought they were only THIS off for Greece, which is smaller... University students you are saying, 70%? Man this heartbreaking...

In Spain it's getting worse too, mentality is worsening quite fast. I think cold times are coming, we are losing human values fast, nothing teaches quicker than something not paying back, and being nice, unselfish, fair... is quickly getting in the red. Culture is laughed upon, but doesn't worry me half as much as this degeneration in values. The word for the attitude regarding others is careless, and that wasn't european until recently.

I agree there.

I guess Greece sounds far away for them, but Spain is located South of Mex. or Latin America by almost 70%. I couldn't care less, but it does show there is some isolation and lack of world-awareness floating around. Not a good thing.

Thats a very interesting way to put it indeed, it's a feedback mechanism, and as you say once people stop getting the compensation they unlearn easily. And it's slippery slope after that...Maybe I am getting too sociological here, but for me human affairs can go both forward an backward and progress doesn't guarantee that it stays this way, and right now we are goin g backward with respect to some values, that were hard fought esp. in europe through wars, dictatorships, revolutions etc., the suffering made us learn better.

"Culture is laughed upon, but doesn't worry me half as much as this degeneration in values. The word for the attitude regarding others is careless, and that wasn't european until recently."

Still it's heartening that at least we are noting this a few hundred miles apart on an internet forum. Let's hope the best in all of us finds some way to reinvigorate itself.

Goodnight and bol, I am off to bed.

Jack, sorry to hear that you read my comments in just the opposite spirit
of the way they were intended.

You said re your pick "I can't find a terminal to post it", hence my remarks
about internet cafes, a laptop & safety.

I know nothing about your country, or how safe it is there, nor did my
post state that i did.

As per your request this will be my final post in your thread.

X-files,

I am sorry too to have interpreted this the opposite way of what you actually meant it, posts are sometimes left open to a lot of interpretations, it's unfortunately the nature of this media. I did say that I couldn't find a terminal to post this but I also added in parentheses "(to tell you the truth I just bet it and didn't even think about posting it here, just wasn't humanly posssible) ". Shit happens, let's put this behind us.

I have always liked your posts, and I appreciate your comments and feedback, so you are welcome to post here any time you like.
