Like I 've said before, my only consolation is that some of the guys here, that trust that I 'll do well and give more than a passing view on my bets have not been hurt by the live bets which are posted too quickly to notice, and most of the time lost in a matter of seconds, and are actually turning a profit as I am on the normal bets.

cheers man, seems like a lot of people where on it so I can't claim any originality, still a welcome addition to the growing bankroll on the non live bets.

This world cup has turned out to be so far a playground for the squares all the favourites are coming in and everyone seems to be turning a profit, I ve taken a far more cautious approach and I don't regret it, I am wondering how many shops can keep up the way they are getting hit...

ok let me continue in saying here, what a complete moron I have been, and that self deprecation, is just a fair appreciation that I have been trying to fit world cup betting in a tight schedule and I just haven't been doing it with the proper attention, information, planning etc. etc. Take for example risking 15% on the live bet for Ivory Coast (largely) to score and 7.5% on the pk for the africans, and I am expecting the officials to give a fair chance to the africans and say to oh, what, just about 200,000 dutch tourists, and more, to fuck off back home and lose on the billions made each day, for a bunch of ivorian ambassadors and players and friends family. Those are the actions of someone with a very flippant approach to gambling, and shouldn't be mine, but of course, If I haven't looked into the games and the related information carefully and I am being overconfident that amidst a date with a girlfriend, and work, and the gym, and various others activities I can cap the games in a few minutes and make a profit. Maybe I can, but that's where mistakes are made. Ok, that just about ends my rant/introspection. Like I ve said before, anyone betting my proper bets which are posted in time for most people to read will be ahead for the world cup, it's the live bets that are a mess, so at least I am not costing anyone else in here.


That said, If todays live bet on the half time draw doesn't come in, considering all the conditions pointing to it, I ll have had more than a fair share of bad luck going my way, which has (it always does) played a big part.

my man, if I d lost that one too... I mean the tempo of the game was sooo slow, the heat had the tv set sweating and puffing let alone the players, the ref didn't do much for the tempo with the fouling calls, the portuguese had some attempts to score but were playing much like I ve been betting in a half arsed way, the iranians were keeping the ball and passing it around but posing no real threat, and defensively they weren't giving up any space...

Yeah sure they can, but I wouldn't trust them to, they are big time fade material for me, they got a lot of quality up front, but having watched them live a few years back in the euro I have no faith in their determination.
